Internet Desk: Legendary director Rajamouli on the way of filming Indian epics. Spoken on the podcast. He (SS Rajamouli) stated that he was never satisfied with the way they were portrayed on the silver screen.
Though he loved many classic mythological films, he felt that the great epics were not given full justice on screen. Explaining this matter, there is a big difference between the way epics are written and the way they are shown on screen. Rajamouli said that this lot has made him think for many years and finally he took it as a challenge. What are you going to do now? How are you going to show them?'' he revealed that he asked himself. He said that this self-challenge has become the main point of the movie 'Varanasi'.
Rajamouli has already said that some scenes related to Ramayana will be shot in 'Varanasi'. Now with the comments, the expectations of the fans on those scenes have increased. The shooting of Rajamouli's Mahesh Babu-starrer film is almost complete. It will be released in theaters on April 7 next year.
- Before the audience trolls... we have to judge ourselves: Kiran Abbavaram
The movie boosted my confidence: Rajamouli
Rajamouli said that 'Eega' under his direction boosted his confidence. "That is my favorite film. Because that's the biggest experiment I've ever done. Even today the idea of making a film with a fly as the main character seems new. The emotions in that story filled us with so much excitement. Everyone sees Rajamouli as.. usually before Baahubali and after Baahubali. But personally, I consider myself a director before Eega," he revealed.
