ఈనాడు, కర్నూలు: కర్నూలు డ్రోన్‌సిటీ ప్రపంచానికే డ్రోన్‌ హబ్‌గా మారుతుందని పౌర విమానయానశాఖ మంత్రి రామ్మోహన్‌నాయుడు పేర్కొన్నారు. కర్నూలు సమీపంలోని ఓర్వకల్లు మండలంలో 600 ఎకరాల్లో అభివృద్ధి చేస్తున్న డ్రోన్‌సిటీలో పెట్టుబడులు పెట్టడానికి చాలా సంస్థలు ముందుకొస్తున్నాయని, రాబోయే సంవత్సరాల్లో రూ.5 వేల కోట్ల వరకు పెట్టుబడులు వచ్చే అవకాశం ఉందని అన్నారు. డ్రోన్ల పరిశోధన, ఆవిష్కరణ, తయారీ, పరీక్షల నిర్వహణ, ధ్రువీకరణ తదితర అన్ని విభాగాలు ఇక్కడే అందుబాటులో ఉంటాయన్నారు. డ్రోన్‌ సిటీలో మంగళవారం వివిధ డ్రోన్ల కంపెనీల సీఈవోలతో నిర్వహించిన రౌండ్‌ టేబుల్‌ సమావేశంలో మంత్రి పాల్గొని మాట్లాడారు. ఇక్కడ నిర్మిస్తున్న డ్రోన్‌ సిటీ దేశంలోనే మొట్టమొదటిదన్నారు. సమావేశంలో వివిధ సంస్థల సీఈవోలు చేసిన సూచనల అధ్యయనానికి ఒక కమిటీ వేస్తామని చెప్పారు. డ్రోన్‌ సంస్థలకు వేగవంతమైన సేవలు అందుబాటులోకి వచ్చేలా చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని ప్రకటించారు.
‘రెండేళ్ల కిందట అమరావతిలో డ్రోన్‌ సమిట్‌ నిర్వహించినప్పుడు ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు అప్పటికప్పుడు డ్రోన్‌సిటీ ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని నిర్ణయించారు. దానికి అనుగుణంగానే కర్నూలులో డ్రోన్‌ సిటీ ఏర్పాటైంది. రాళ్లతో నిండిన ఈ ప్రాంతమే రేపు డ్రోన్ల తయారీ సంస్థలకు నిలయంగా మారుతుంది. పౌర విమానయాన మంత్రిత్వశాఖ, క్యూసీఐ, డీజీసీఏ సంస్థల ప్రతినిధులందరూ ఇక్కడే ఉండి ఆయా సంస్థలకు అవసరమైన సేవలు అందిస్తారు. టాస్క్‌ఫోర్స్‌ ఏర్పాటుచేసి ప్రతి మూడు నెలలకు ఒకసారి డ్రోన్‌ సిటీ అభివృద్ధిని సమీక్షిస్తాం. దేశంలో ఆరు లక్షలకు పైగా గ్రామాలు ఉన్నాయని, భవిష్యత్తులో ఊరికొక డ్రోన్‌ అయినా అవసరం అవుతుంది. ప్రస్తుతం దేశంలో 40 వేల డ్రోన్లు మాత్రమే ఉన్నాయి’ అని మంత్రి చెప్పారు.
- రూ.500 కోట్ల వ్యయంతో డ్రోన్ల రంగాన్ని అభివృద్ధి చేస్తున్నట్లు ఏపీ డ్రోన్స్‌ కార్పొరేషన్‌ ఎండీ గీతాంజలిశర్మ చెప్పారు. కర్నూలు డ్రోన్‌ సిటీని ప్రస్తుతం 120 ఎకరాల్లో అభివృద్ధి చేశామని, రెండో దశలో 480 ఎకరాల్లో పూర్తిస్థాయిలో అభివృద్ధి చేస్తామని ఏపీఐఐసీ ఈడీ యశ్వంత్‌కుమార్‌రెడ్డి తెలిపారు.
- డ్రోన్ల తయారీ సంస్థల ప్రతినిధులు ప్రదర్శించిన డ్రోన్లను రామ్మోహన్‌నాయుడు పరిశీలించారు. సమావేశంలో సీఈవోలు లేవనెత్తిన ప్రశ్నలకు సమాధానాలు చెప్పారు. అమరావతిలోని ఎస్‌ఆర్‌ఎం విశ్వవిద్యాలయం, కర్నూలు ట్రిపుల్‌ఐటీ డీఎం, హైదరాబాద్‌కు చెందిన తిహాన్, కర్నూలులోని పుల్లారెడ్డి ఇంజినీరింగ్‌ కళాశాలల ప్రతినిధులు ఏపీ డ్రోన్స్‌ కార్పొరేషన్‌తో అవగాహన ఒప్పందాలు కుదుర్చుకున్నారు. తొలుత ఓర్వకల్లు విమానాశ్రయంలో జేఎస్‌డబ్ల్యూ డిఫెన్స్‌ సంస్థ ఏర్పాటు చేసిన అన్‌మ్యాన్డ్‌ ఏరియల్‌ వెహికల్‌ను కేంద్రమంత్రి పరిశీలించి ఆ సంస్థ ప్రతినిధులతో మాట్లాడారు. కార్యక్రమంలో కర్నూలు ఎంపీ బస్తిపాటి నాగరాజు పాల్గొన్నారు. దాదాపు 150 డ్రోన్‌ సంస్థల సీఈవోలు, ప్రతినిధులు హాజరయ్యారు.
బెంగళూరులోని ఇండియన్‌ ఇన్‌స్టిట్యూట్‌ ఆఫ్‌ సైన్స్‌ (ఐఐఎస్‌సీ) విద్యార్థులు, ఆచార్యులు సంయుక్తంగా ‘యుబిక్స్‌ కన్సోల్‌’ పేరిట ఆవిష్కరించిన డ్రోన్‌ వ్యవస్థ ఇది. మంగళవారం కర్నూలు డ్రోన్‌సిటీలో జరిగిన రౌండ్‌టేబుల్‌ సమావేశం సందర్భంగా దీన్ని ప్రదర్శించారు. దీంతో ఒకేసారి 12 డ్రోన్లను వినియోగించుకోవచ్చు. వీటిని వినియోగించడానికి మనుషులు అక్కర్లేదు. కన్సోల్‌లో ఇచ్చిన ప్రోగ్రామ్‌కు అనుగుణంగా ఆయా డ్రోన్లు వాటంతటవే నిర్ణీత సమయంపాటు పనిచేస్తాయి. ఒకదానికొకటి ఢీకొట్టడం ఉండదు.

According to that, drone city was established in Kurnool. This rocky area will become the home of drone manufacturing companies tomorrow. All the representatives of Ministry of Civil Aviation, QCI and DGCA will stay here and provide necessary services to the respective organizations. A task force will be formed to review the progress of the drone city every three months. There are more than six lakh villages in the country and in the future even a single drone will be necessary. At present there are only 40 thousand drones in the country, said the minister.
