Filling of 10,060 posts in government departments

Today, Amaravati: Various Govt. The state cabinet has waved the green flag for filling up 10,060 vacant posts in departments. These will be replaced as part of the 2026-27 job calendar. The State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) approved the decisions taken in the meeting regarding the various projects to be undertaken in the state with a cost of Rs.2.08 lakh crore. A number of key decisions were taken in the Cabinet meeting held at the Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Chandrababu Babu. It approved the proposal to acquire 2,344 acres of land in Motadaka village for the purpose of inner ring road and railway lines in the capital region.

The green flag has been waved to fill 10,060 vacancies in various government departments under the 2026-27 job calendar. The administration has approved Rs 7,469.46 crore for the development of roads, canals, electricity and parks under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) in urban local bodies. The administration has sanctioned Rs 1,323.75 crore for the Phase-II works of Handri Neeva Sujala Sravanti (HNSS). Rs.750.07 crores for main canal CC lining works (from 400.50 km to 485.300/490 km) in Sri Satyasai district. An amount of Rs.573.68 crore has been allocated for the main canal works in Annamaiya, Tirupati and Chittoor districts.

• Allotment of 200 acres of land to Data Center Holdings India for setting up a hyperscale data center with a capacity of 486 MW at Jagannathapuram, Anandapuram mandal, Visakhapatnam district, for tailor-made incentives. Approval
• Approval for setting up a lithium ion cell manufacturing plant in Tirupati under the direction of Munoth Lithium Battery Pvt Ltd with an investment of Rs.500 crore.
• An investment of Rs.450 crore under the direction of AIL Dixon Technologies, the aim is to employ 7 thousand people..Electronic manufacturing unit at YSR EMC Kopparthi Establishment
• Investment of Rs.85,200 crores, 433.30 acres of land allocated to Renew AP Green Data Center Ltd. for setting up of 1,000 megawatt hyperscale data center at Makavarapalem, Anakapalli district, with the aim of creating employment for 1,880 people.
• Investment of Rs.31,387 crores, Grant of financial and non-financial incentives to AM Intelligence Labs for setting up an AI data center with a capacity of 512 MW at Amanam, Bhimunipatnam mandal, Visakhapatnam district with the aim of creating employment for 1,000 people. Establishment of SI Ingot and Wafer Manufacturing Plant with gigawatt integrated facility. Allotment of 143.26 acres of land for this at Rs.10 lakh per acre.
• Akshat Greentech Pvt Ltd 3.6 gigawatts at Visakhapatnam Paravada Industrial Wada approved for setting up of Topcon Solar Cell and Module Production Plant
• For expansion of aluminum extrusion project at Akarlapalli, Kuppam Mandal, Chittoor District. Allotment of 60 Acres to Hindalco Industries

Inner Ring Road in Capital, for Amaravati Railway Line

• Construction of Errubalem-Namburu New Broad Gauge Railway Line in Capital Amaravati (Total with 50 meter buffer on both sides) 100 meters), for the construction of inner ring road.. Cabinet resolution authorizing CRDA commissioner to take 2344.12 acres in Motadaka of Tadikonda mandal of Guntur district under the land acquisition system
• As part of the second phase of land acquisition scheme. Payment of compensation of Rs.159.45 crores to the Debt Department for settlement of debt land disputes.. Approval of the proposal to provide benefits of land acquisition to farmers with Raithwari titles.
