ఈనాడు, హైదరాబాద్‌: పాలు, వెన్న లేకుండానే భారీఎత్తున కల్తీ నెయ్యి తయారు చేసి రాజధానిలో విచ్చలవిడిగా విక్రయిస్తున్న తీరును పోలీసులు రట్టు చేశారు. హైదరాబాద్‌ ఫుడ్‌ అడల్ట్రేషన్‌ సర్వైలెన్స్‌ టీమ్‌ (హెచ్‌-ఫాస్ట్‌), ఆహారభద్రత విభాగం సంయుక్తంగా ఇటీవల 130 తయారీ, విక్రయ కేంద్రాల్లో నిర్వహించిన తనిఖీల్లో 36 టన్నుల కల్తీనెయ్యిని, ప్రమాదకరమైన రసాయనాలను స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు. కల్తీ నెయ్యి రాకెట్‌ నడుస్తున్న తీరును.. నగర సీపీ వీసీ సజ్జనర్‌ మంగళవారం పోలీస్‌ కమాండ్‌ కంట్రోల్‌ సెంటర్‌లో.. అదనపు సీపీ తఫ్సీర్‌ ఇక్బాల్, జాయింట్‌ సీపీ విజయ్‌కుమార్, హెచ్‌ఫాస్ట్‌ డీసీపీ వైభవ్‌ గైక్వాడ్, ఇన్‌స్పెక్టర్లు రంజిత్‌కుమార్‌గౌడ్, అంజయ్య, ఎస్సైలు రమ్య, అఖిల్, శంకర్, కృష్ణలతో కలసి.. మీడియాకు వెల్లడించారు. ప్రయోగశాలల్లో పరీక్షించినా.. కల్తీ గుట్టు బయటపడకుండా నిందితులు పకడ్బందీగా ఏర్పాట్లు చేసుకున్నారని ఆయన తెలిపారు. బ్రాండ్‌ లేని.. తక్కువ ధరకు లభించే నెయ్యిని వాడి అనారోగ్యాన్ని కొని తెచ్చుకోవద్దని వినియోగదారులకు సీపీ సూచించారు. చుక్క కూడా పాలు వినియోగించకుండా.. కేవలం రసాయనాలు, పామాయిల్, రవ్వతో టన్నుల కొద్దీ కల్తీ నెయ్యి తయారు చేస్తున్నారని డీసీపీ గైక్వాడ్ చెప్పారు. సీపీ మాట్లాడుతూ.. ‘‘100 శాతం ఫ్యూర్, ప్రీమియం, ఫామ్‌ఫ్రెష్, నేచురల్‌ నెయ్యి తదితర పేర్లతో మార్కెట్‌ను ముంచెత్తుతున్నారు. స్టార్‌ హోటళ్లు, రెస్టారెంట్లు, స్వీట్‌షాపులు, ఆయుర్వేద మందుల దుకాణాలు, కేటరింగ్‌ నిర్వాహకులకు సరఫరా చేస్తున్నారు. స్వచ్ఛమైన నెయ్యిలో 99.5 శాతం ఫ్యాట్‌ ఉండాలి. కల్తీ నెయ్యిలోనూ దాన్ని చూపేందుకు నిందితులు పామాయిల్ వాడుతున్నారు. ల్యాబ్‌ పరీక్షల ఆధారంగా కల్తీనెయ్యి తయారీలో రసాయనాలు వాడినట్టు నిర్ధారణ అయ్యింది. దీని ఆధారంగా నిందితులపై చట్టపరమైన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటాం.

Pure ghee should contain 99.5 percent fat. The accused are using palm oil to show it in adulterated ghee as well. Based on the lab tests, it was confirmed that chemicals were used in the manufacture of adulterated oil. Based on this we will take legal action against the accused.
Milk cream is being imported. For this ghee is made by mixing Bombay ghee, porridge, palm oil and margarine. For smell.. chemicals like beta-carotene, acetic acid ester, lactic acid, monoglycerides are added without being able to smell adulteration. Artificial color is added to make it look like cow's milk.
