దిల్లీ: ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాజధాని అమరావతికి కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం కీలక ప్రాజెక్టు ప్రకటించింది. సెంట్రల్ సెక్రటేరియట్ నిర్మాణానికి సంబంధించి సీపీడబ్ల్యూడీ ప్రతిపాదనలకు కేంద్ర కేబినెట్ బుధవారం ఆమోదం తెలిపింది. దీంతో అమరావతిలో రూ.2,534 కోట్లతో సెంట్రల్ సెక్రటేరియట్ నిర్మాణానికి రంగం సిద్ధమైంది. ఇందులో భాగంగా కామన్ సెంట్రల్ సెక్రటేరియట్ కోసం రూ.1,299.08 కోట్లు, కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగుల నివాస సముదాయాలకు రూ.1,234.91 కోట్లు వెచ్చించనుంది. కామన్సెంట్రల్ సెక్రటేరియట్లో కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ కార్యాలయాలు కొలువుదీరనున్నాయి. అమరావతి కేంద్రంగా పనిచేసే కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులకు మల్టీస్టోరీడ్ నివాసాలు ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నారు. సెంట్రల్ సెక్రటేరియట్ నిర్మాణం కోసం ఇప్పటికే సీఆర్డీఏ 22.53 ఎకరాలు కేటాయించింది. ఇందులో 5.53 ఎకరాల్లో సెక్రటేరియట్, 17 ఎకరాల్లో నివాస సముదాయం నిర్మాణం చేపట్టనున్నారు.
