Visakhapatnam: Suicide by falling under train while everyone was watching

Visakhapatnam (Kurmannapalem). Newstoday: An ex-serviceman, who was facing financial difficulties, committed suicide under a train at a railway station while passengers were watching. Everyone trembled with fear as the man's torso and head were separated in front of their eyes due to the accident. The incident took place on Saturday at Duvwada railway station near Visakhapatnam. According to the details of the Railway Police, the Havda-Bangalore special train is coming to the platform at 1.10 pm. Meanwhile, a man sitting on the platform went mad and lay down with his head on the rails, and the train ran over him. He died on the spot.

The deceased was identified as Neelapu Venkataramana Reddy (65) alias Sainik from Nellimukku of Pedagantyada mandal of Visakha district. He served in the army for some time. After retirement, he worked in a steel factory. Earlier he also served as the president of TDP soldiers' wing. Currently running a grocery store. He has a wife and two married daughters. Venkataramana Reddy, who ran the grocery shop till Saturday afternoon, then came to the railway station and committed this crime. While he was in financial trouble for the past few years, it is believed that he committed suicide under that pressure.
