Internet Desk: A cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz (Cargo Ship) sunk. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) revealed that the incident took place after hitting a seamine. However, it is noteworthy that this is the first time that the IRGC has announced that the vessel has hit a mine and sunk. Local media said that the incident took place while the vessel was traveling on an illegal and dangerous route.
It is reported that the stricken vessel was carrying around 2500 containers. These include iPhones, luxury perfume bottles and other items. While the containers were scattered after the accident, other items including iPhones were seen floating in heaps on the water. It seems that the Singapore-flagged vessel GFS Pride was carrying these goods from Dubai.
The port authorities initially claimed that two cargo ships from Singapore collided with unknown objects while en route to Hormuz. He said that one of them drowned and the other reached the destination safely. In this context, the Singapore Port authorities revealed that all the crew members of the first ship were safely evacuated and no one was injured. href="https://www.facebook.com/eenaduonline/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Facebook, Twitter, Instagram& Google News.
