Kachiguda, Newstoday: The South Central Railway is being apathetic in running express trains leaving the city on Dussehra with full bogies. Passengers are suffering due to lack of ticket reservation in the trains departing from the main railway stations of the city for the festival. All the trains have to be run with full coaches at the present time when the reservation of tickets is completed and the waiting list (waiting) list is appearing. People of the city are worried because they are not getting tickets. More than 300 trains ply from the main stations of the city like Kachiguda, Secunderabad, Nampally, Charlapally, Lingampally etc. 5 lakh passengers will reach their destinations through these. Due to the Dussehra festival holidays, city dwellers are going home with their families and the congestion in the trains will increase. In this background, passengers are demanding that all trains run with full bogies.
Some relief with the increase of coaches
Each train with ICF coaches can be run with 24 bogies and train with LHB coaches with 22 bogies. Not running them at full capacity to ease the festival rush is causing the problem. Each ICF coach can carry 72 passengers and each LHB coach can carry 80 passengers. Passengers want the railway authorities to take initiative in that direction.
