బీసీలకు భిక్ష కాదు.. భాగస్వామ్యం కావాలి. భరోసా కాదు.. అధికారంలో భాగం కావాలి. మాటలు కాదు.. చట్టబద్ధమైన హక్కు కావాలి. అందుకే ప్రతి బీసీ కుటుంబం గర్వంగా చెప్పుకొనేలా రిజర్వేషన్లు తెస్తున్నాం. సామాజిక న్యాయం, బీసీల సాధికారత, సమగ్ర ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ కోసం 34 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్ల కల్పన చరిత్రాత్మక నిర్ణయం.
- అధికారమనేది కొంతమంది చేతుల్లోనే ఉండటానికి వీల్లేదు. సమాజంలో ప్రతి వర్గానికీ అవకాశం కల్పించాలి. అభివృద్ధి అంటే రహదారులు, భవనాలు, పరిశ్రమలే కాదు.. చివరి వరుసలో ఉండే వ్యక్తిని మొదటి వరుసలోకి తీసుకురావడమే నిజమైన అభివృద్ధి. శాసనసభ సాక్షిగా చెబుతున్నా.. చట్టబద్ధంగా, న్యాయబద్ధంగా, రాజ్యాంగబద్ధంగా బీసీలకు న్యాయం జరిగే వరకు అండగా ఉంటాం.
- 34% అంటే అదేదో మూడు, నాలుగు సంఖ్య కాదు. బీసీలకిచ్చే రాజకీయ ప్రాతినిధ్యం. నిర్ణయాధికారంలో భాగస్వామ్యమివ్వడం. తరతరాలుగా వెనుకబడిన కుటుంబాలకు సువర్ణావకాశం. సామాజిక న్యాయానికి ఎన్డీయే ప్రభుత్వమిచ్చే గౌరవం. సముచిత న్యాయం.
ఈనాడు, అమరావతి: రాష్ట్ర జనాభాలో సగానికిపైగా ఉన్న వెనుకబడిన వర్గాలకు సముచిత న్యాయం.. పాలనలో వారికి సింహభాగం కల్పించే చరిత్రాత్మక నిర్ణయం.. వైకాపా ప్రభుత్వ అహంకార ధోరణితో కోల్పోయిన 16వేలకు పైగా స్థానిక సంస్థల పదవులను తిరిగి బీసీలకు కట్టబెట్టే సందర్భం.. వీటన్నింటికీ శాసనసభ వేదికైంది. బీసీలకు గ్రామీణ స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికల్లో 34 శాతం, పట్టణ స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికల్లో 33.33 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లు కల్పిస్తూ ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు శాసనసభ్యుల హర్షాతిరేకాల మధ్య మంగళవారం శాసనసభలో ప్రకటించారు. అవి రెండూ చట్టంలో ఉన్నాయని, వాటిని అమలుపరుస్తామని వెల్లడించారు.
పట్టణ స్థానిక సంస్థల్లో మేయర్, మున్సిపల్‌ ఛైర్‌పర్సన్ల స్థానాలకు ప్రత్యక్ష పద్ధతిలో ఎన్నికలు నిర్వహిస్తామని.. ఆయారాం, గయారాంలు లేకుండా సుస్థిర పాలన కోసమే ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నామని తెలిపారు. వైకాపా హయాంలో కార్పొరేషన్లలో ఇద్దరు డిప్యూటీ మేయర్లు, మున్సిపాల్టీల్లో ఇద్దరు వైస్‌ఛైర్మన్లను పెట్టారని.. దాన్ని సవరించి ఒక్కో డిప్యూటీ మేయర్, వైస్‌ఛైర్మన్‌ పదవే ఉండాలని నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నామని చెప్పారు. ప్రస్తుతం ఉన్న 13 జిల్లా ప్రజాపరిషత్‌లను 28కి పెంచబోతున్నట్టు చెప్పారు. ఈ నిర్ణయాల్ని సభ ఆమోదించాలని సీఎం కోరారు. సభ్యులందరూ వారి స్థానాల్లో లేచి నిల్చుని చప్పట్లు కొడుతూ ఆమోదం తెలిపారు.
చంద్రబాబు మాట్లాడుతూ... వైకాపా ప్రభుత్వంలో బీసీలకు జరిగిన అన్యాయాన్ని సరిచేసేందుకు ప్రత్యేక మంత్రివర్గ సమావేశాన్ని నిర్వహించి కొన్ని కీలక నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకున్నామన్నారు. వాటిని తాను, ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి పవన్‌ కల్యాణ్, భాజపా కలిసి సమష్టిగా తీసుకున్నామని చెప్పారు. రాష్ట్ర జనాభాలో 50.14 శాతం ఉన్న బీసీలకు 34% రిజర్వేషన్లు ఎన్డీయే ఎన్నికల హామీ మాత్రమే కాదు.. ఇది తమ రాజకీయ సిద్ధాంతమని సభ ద్వారా నిరూపించామని ప్రకటించారు. ఇది ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ సామాజిక న్యాయ చరిత్రలో చిరస్థాయిగా నిలిచిపోయే రోజని అభివర్ణించారు. ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ, మైనారిటీలు, మహిళలు, ఇతర వర్గాలను గౌరవిస్తూనే రాజ్యాంగ పరిమితుల్లో సామాజిక న్యాయాన్ని సాధించడమే బీసీ రిజర్వేషన్ల కల్పన లక్ష్యమని స్పష్టం చేశారు. వైకాపా ప్రభుత్వం చేసిన తప్పిదాన్ని సరిదిద్దే ఈ చరిత్రాత్మక దిద్దుబాటు.. బీసీల రాజకీయ గొంతుకను వినిపించడమే కాక వారి ఆత్మగౌరవాన్ని పెంచుతుందని ఉద్ఘాటించారు. సీఎం ప్రసంగంలో ముఖ్యాంశాలివీ..
బీసీల అభివృద్ధి అంటే తెదేపా ముందు, తర్వాత..
బీసీలకు ప్రాధాన్యం గురించి మాట్లాడితే తెదేపాకు ముందు, తర్వాత అని చెప్పొచ్చు. 45 ఏళ్ల సుదీర్ఘ రాజకీయ చరిత్రలో బీసీలను ఆదుకున్నది అప్పటి తెదేపా, ఇప్పటి ఎన్డీయే ప్రభుత్వాలే. తెదేపా ఆవిర్భావానికి ముందు రాజకీయం కొన్ని వర్గాలకే పరిమితమైంది. అన్ని వర్గాలకు రాజ్యాధికారం కల్పించాలని ఆలోచించిన మొదటి వ్యక్తి ఎన్టీఆరే. ఎర్రన్నాయుడు, యనమల రామకృష్ణుడు, కేఈ కృష్ణమూర్తి, అయ్యన్నపాత్రుడు, దేవేందర్‌గౌడ్‌ తదితర బీసీ నాయకులకు ఆయనే రాజకీయ జీవితాన్నిచ్చారు. వార్డు సభ్యుడు మొదలు కేంద్ర మంత్రి పదవి వరకు బీసీలకు రాజకీయ ప్రాతినిధ్యం కల్పించిన ఘనత తెదేపాదే. అందుకే 45 ఏళ్లుగా బీసీలు తెదేపా వెన్నంటే ఉన్నారు. 2024 ఎన్నికల్లో కూటమి ఘనవిజయానికి ప్రధాన కారణం బీసీలే. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థను, గ్రామీణ జీవితాల్ని, వ్యవసాయాన్ని, చేతివృత్తుల్ని, చిన్న వ్యాపారుల్ని, సేవా రంగాల్ని నిలబెట్టింది బీసీ సమాజమే.
అవకాశాలు రాకనే బీసీలు వెనుకబడ్డారు
అవకాశాలు రాకే బీసీలు వెనుకబడ్డారు. వారికి అవకాశాలు కల్పించి, అన్ని విధాలా న్యాయం చేసే బాధ్యత కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకుంటుంది. ఒక కుటుంబానికి ఒక పథకమిస్తే సంక్షేమం. ఒక యువకుడికి ఉద్యోగమిస్తే అది అభివృద్ధి. అదే ఒక బీసీ మహిళను, యువకుణ్ని గ్రామ, మండల, కార్పొరేషన్‌ పాలనలో నిర్ణయాధికారం చేసే స్థాయికి తీసుకొస్తే అదే వారి నిజమైన సాధికారత. అందుకే ఈ రిజర్వేషన్లకు ప్రాధాన్యముంది.
బీసీలకు 34% రిజర్వేషన్లు అమలు చేసింది నేనే
1986లో ఎన్టీఆర్‌ తొలిసారిగా బీసీలకు స్థానిక సంస్థల్లో 20% రిజర్వేషన్లను తీసుకొచ్చారు. జిల్లా, మండల ప్రజాపరిషత్‌లలో అమలు చేశారు. 1995లో నేను ముఖ్యమంత్రిగా ఉండగా దాన్ని 34 శాతానికి పెంచా. 2001, 2006, 2013 స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికల్లో బీసీలకు 34 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లు అమలు చేశాం.
వైకాపా ప్రభుత్వం 24.15 శాతానికి తగ్గించింది
2019లో వైకాపా ప్రభుత్వం వచ్చాక బీసీలకు అన్యాయం చేసింది. జీవో 76 తీసుకొచ్చింది. దీన్ని హైకోర్టు కొట్టేస్తే సుప్రీంకోర్టులో కనీసం అప్పీలుకు కూడా వెళ్లలేదు. 15 ఏళ్లుగా కేసులున్న జగన్.. వాటిపై కింది కోర్టు నుంచి పై కోర్టు వరకూ వెళుతూనే ఉన్నారు. లా, లిటిగేషన్‌ తెలియని వ్యక్తి కాదు. కానీ బీసీలకు న్యాయం చేసేందుకు మాత్రం సుప్రీంకోర్టుకు వెళ్లలేదు. బీసీలకు ద్రోహం చేయడంలో జగనే నంబర్‌-1. 559, 560 జీవోల ద్వారా బీసీ రిజర్వేషన్లను ఏకపక్షంగా 34 శాతం నుంచి 24.15 శాతానికి తగ్గించారు. ఫలితంగా 16,800 మంది బీసీలు రాజకీయ పదవులు కోల్పోయారు. కానీ తెదేపా ఎప్పుడూ బీసీలకు అండగా నిలిచింది. ఎంపీటీసీ సభ్యుడిగా ఉన్న నాగరాజును కర్నూలు ఎంపీని చేశాం. అది మా విధానం.
2019-24 మధ్య వైకాపా హయాంలో బీసీలపై జరిగింది రాజకీయ అణచివేత మాత్రమే కాదు.. అంతులేని కక్షసాధింపు. అయ్యన్నపాత్రుడిపై రేప్‌ కేసు పెట్టారు. అచ్చెన్నాయుడు, కొల్లు రవీంద్ర, కూన రవికుమార్, యనమల రామకృష్ణుడు, పల్లా శ్రీనివాస్‌లపై అక్రమ కేసులు బనాయించారు. రేపల్లెలో అమర్‌నాథ్‌గౌడ్‌పై పెట్రోలు పోసి తగలబెడితే కనీసం కేసు పెట్టలేదు. తోట చంద్రయ్యను గొంతు కోసి కిరాతకంగా హత్య చేశారు. నందం సుబ్బయ్యను అతి దారుణంగా చంపారు. వారు ప్రాణాలు పోతున్నా సిద్ధాంతాలను మాత్రం విడిచిపెట్టలేదు. వైకాపా హయాంలో బీసీలకు 56 కార్పొరేషన్లు ఏర్పాటు చేసినట్లు నటించారు. ఒక్క రూపాయి కూడా నిధులు కేటాయించలేదు. కనీసం ఛైర్మన్లు కూర్చోవడానికి కుర్చీలు కూడా ఏర్పాటు చేయలేదు.
వైకాపా నేతలు బీసీ రిజర్వేషన్లపైనా కోర్టుకెళ్తారు
మెగా డీఎస్సీపై కోర్టుల్లో 350 కేసులు వేసి అడ్డుకునేందుకు వైకాపా నాయకులు ప్రయత్నించారు. వాటన్నింటినీ అధిగమించి పారదర్శకంగా డీఎస్సీ నిర్వహించి, ఉపాధ్యాయ ఉద్యోగాలిస్తే ఇప్పుడు అక్రమాలు జరిగాయంటూ డ్రామాలాడుతున్నారు. అలాగే బీసీ రిజర్వేషన్లపై కోర్టుకు వెళ్లేందుకు వారు ప్రయత్నిస్తారు. ఇదే జరిగితే రాష్ట్రంలో వైకాపా తిరిగి కోలుకోలేని విధంగా బీసీలు దెబ్బతీయాలి.
వైకాపా నేతలకు బాధ్యతలు పట్టవా?
బీసీలకు స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికల్లో 34 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లు కల్పించే చరిత్రాత్మక సందర్భంలోనైనా ప్రతిపక్షం సభకు వస్తుందని అనుకున్నా. వైకాపా నేతలకు ప్రివిలేజెస్‌ కావాలిగానీ బాధ్యతలు మాత్రం తీసుకోరు. స్వాతంత్య్ర దినోత్సవాన జాతీయ జెండా ఎగురవేసేందుకూ జగన్‌కి సమయం లేదా? అలాంటి పార్టీ నాయకుల్ని ఏమనాలి?
- బీసీల సాధికారతకు 5 విధానాలు అమలు చేయబోతున్నాం. వారి విద్య, నైపుణ్యం, ఉపాధి, ఆంత్రప్రెన్యూర్‌షిప్, రాజకీయ ప్రాతినిధ్యం కోసం ప్రత్యేక చర్యలు చేపడతాం. రాష్ట్రంలోని మొత్తం 119 బీసీ గురుకులాల్లో 93 తెదేపా హయాంలో వచ్చినవే. రాష్ట్రంలోని 993 బీసీ వసతిగృహాల్లో ఉండే 90 వేల మంది విద్యార్థులకు త్వరలోనే గురుకులాల్ని అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకొస్తాం.
- 16వ ఆర్థిక సంఘం నుంచి గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతానికి రూ. 2,300 కోట్లు, పట్టణ ప్రాంతానికి రూ.1562 కోట్లు గ్రాంటుగా కేంద్రం నుంచి రావాల్సి ఉంది. ఎన్నికలు నిర్వహిస్తేనే రూ.3,862 కోట్ల నిధులు విడుదలవుతాయి. స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికల్లో కూటమి తరఫున వెనుకబడిన వర్గాల నుంచి మంచి నాయకత్వాన్ని ఎంపిక చేసి, ప్రోత్సహించాలి. ఎన్డీయే ప్రభుత్వం గుర్తించి అవకాశాలిచ్చి పాలనలో భాగస్వామ్యం కల్పించిందనే నమ్మకం బీసీల్లో తీసుకురావాలి.
బీసీలకు రాజ్యాధికారం, గౌరవం, ఆర్థిక స్థిరత్వం, భద్రత, విద్య, ఉపాధి, సాధికారత కోసం అనేక చర్యలు చేపట్టాం. ఎన్టీఆర్‌ సీఎంగా ఉన్నప్పుడు సగం ధరకే చీర-ధోవతి పథకం, చేనేత కార్మికులకు ఉపాధి, పేదవారికి కట్టుకోడానికి బట్ట అమలు చేశారు. నేను చేతివృత్తులు, కులవృత్తులకు ఆదరణ పథకం కింద 341 రకాల ఆధునిక పరికరాలను 90 శాతం రాయితీతో అందించా. తొలిసారిగా సంచారజాతులకు ప్రత్యేకంగా ఎంబీసీ కార్పొరేషన్‌ పెట్టి ఆదుకున్నాం. రెండేళ్లలో వివిధ సంక్షేమ కార్యక్రమాల ద్వారా రూ.32,534 కోట్లు ఖర్చు పెట్టాం.
- గనుల్లో వడ్డెర్లకు 10 శాతం లీజుకిచ్చాం.
- గీత కార్మికులకు 10 శాతం మద్యం దుకాణాలు రిజర్వ్‌ చేశాం.
- చేనేత కార్మికులకు 200 యూనిట్లు, పవర్‌లూమ్‌ కార్మికులకు 500 యూనిట్లు ఉచిత విద్యుత్తును అమలు చేస్తున్నాం. నేతన్నల సేవలో పథకం కింద ప్రతి చేనేత కుటుంబానికి ఏడాదికి రూ.25 వేల చొప్పున అందిస్తున్నాం.
- వైకాపా ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకొచ్చిన జీవో 217 రద్దు చేసి మత్స్యకారులకు అండగా నిలిచాం. వారికి వేట విరామ సమయంలో రూ.20 వేలు అందిస్తున్నాం. బోట్లకు రాయితీపై డీజిల్‌ అందిస్తున్నాం. పవర్‌ బోట్లను అందించబోతున్నాం.
- నాయీబ్రాహ్మణులు నిర్వహించే సెలూన్లకు 200 యూనిట్ల వరకు ఉచిత విద్యుత్తు అమలు చేస్తున్నాం. దేవాలయాల్లో పనిచేసే నాయీబ్రాహ్మణుల గౌరవ వేతనాన్ని రూ.15 వేల నుంచి రూ.20 వేలకు పెంచాం.
- స్వర్ణకారుల కోసం ప్రత్యేకంగా కార్పొరేషన్‌ ఏర్పాటు చేశాం.
- ఇళ్లపై సోలార్‌ రూఫ్‌టాప్‌ ఏర్పాటు చేసుకునే బీసీలకు రూ.98 వేల రాయితీ ఇస్తున్నాం.

- మారిన పళ్లెం.. నేర్పుతోంది సమానత్వ పాఠం అందరూ సమానమే.. అనే భావన పిల్లల్లో చిన్నప్పటి నుంచే కలగాలన్న ఉద్దేశంతో ప్రభుత్వం వినూత్న కార్యక్రమానికి శ్రీకారం చుట్టింది.
- విజయవాడలో 72 అడుగుల మహాగణపతి విజయవాడకు చెందిన డూండీ గణేశ్‌ సేవా సమితి ఆధ్వర్యంలో లేబరుకాలనీ మైదానంలో 72 అడుగుల పర్యావరణహిత ‘శ్రీపంచముఖ వరసిద్ధి మహాగణపతి’ విగ్రహాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. ఈ నెల 14 నుంచి 24వ తేదీ వరకు ఉత్సవాలు నిర్వహించనున్నారు.
- వేంకటాద్రికి బ్రహ్మోత్సవ శోభ! తిరుమల శ్రీవేంకటేశ్వరుని సాలకట్ల బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల్లో భాగంగా సోమవారం సాయంత్రం అంకురార్పణ క్రతువును తితిదే నిర్వహించనుంది.
- ఎల్‌నినో తీవ్రం.. పైర్లలో పోతున్న జీవం ఎల్‌నినో ప్రభావం రోజు రోజుకు తీవ్రమవుతోంది. అల్పపీడనంతో అక్కడక్కడా భారీ వర్షాలు కురుస్తున్నా.. రాష్ట్రంలోని అత్యధిక ప్రాంతాల్లో వర్షాభావ పరిస్థితులే ఉన్నాయి.
- సామాన్య భక్తుడే వీఐపీ ఈ నెల 15 నుంచి 23 వరకు జరగనున్న శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వరుని సాలకట్ల బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలకు తితిదే విస్తృత ఏర్పాట్లు చేసింది. సాధారణ భక్తులకే ప్రాధాన్యమివ్వనుంది. బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలు జరిగే రోజుల్లో అన్ని రకాల ప్రివిలేజ్డ్‌ దర్శనాలతోపాటు శ్రీవాణి టికెట్లను రద్దుచేసింది.
- చిరు వ్యాపారులకు క్రెడిట్‌ కార్డులు! రోడ్లపై తోపుడు బళ్లు, దుకాణాలు పెట్టుకుని పళ్లు, కూరగాయలు తదితర వ్యాపారాలు చేసే చిరు వ్యాపారులకూ బ్యాంకులు క్రెడిట్‌ కార్డులు జారీ చేయనున్నాయి.
- అన్ని వర్గాల్ని ఒకచోట చేర్చే గొప్ప సామాజిక పండుగ వినాయక చవితి ఊళ్లు, కాలనీలు, పట్టణాలు, నగరాలనే తేడా లేకుండా వాడవాడలా అన్నివర్గాలూ ఎంతో ఘనంగా చేసుకొనే పండుగ వినాయక చవితి అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు పేర్కొన్నారు. ప్రజలకు వినాయకచవితి శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలిపారు.
- ఎస్కేయూ పూర్వ విద్యార్థుల ఆత్మీయ సమ్మేళనం శ్రీకృష్ణదేవరాయ విశ్వవిద్యాలయం (ఎస్కేయూ)లో 1988-91 మధ్య ఎల్‌ఎల్‌బీ (న్యాయవిద్య) పూర్తి చేసిన పూర్వ విద్యార్థుల ఆత్మీయ సమ్మేళనం ఆదివారం అనంతపురంలో జరిగింది.
- తిరుమలకు ప్రైవేట్‌ వాహనాలపై ఆంక్షల్లేవు తిరుమలకు వచ్చే ప్రైవేట్‌ వాహనాలపై ఆంక్షలు విధిస్తున్నట్లు సామాజిక మాధ్యమాల్లో జరుగుతున్న తప్పుడు ప్రచారాన్ని నమ్మొద్దని తితిదే ఆదివారం ఒక ప్రకటనలో తెలిపింది.
- మీ కష్టపడేతత్వమే విద్యావ్యవస్థ భవిష్యత్తు టెట్‌-2026లో ఉత్తీర్ణులైన అభ్యర్థులు, ఇన్‌ సర్వీస్‌ టీచర్లకు విద్య, ఐటీ శాఖల మంత్రి నారా లోకేశ్‌ ఎక్స్‌ వేదికగా ఆదివారం శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలిపారు.
- చీకటి గోపి మృతిపై సిట్‌ వేయాలి గుంటూరు జిల్లా తాడికొండ మండలం పొన్నెకల్లు గ్రామానికి చెందిన దళిత యువకుడు చీకటి గోపి పోలీసుల అక్రమ నిర్బంధం, చిత్రహింసల కారణంగానే మృతి చెందాడని ఎమ్మార్పీఎస్‌ వ్యవస్థాపక అధ్యక్షుడు మంద కృష్ణ మాదిగ ఆరోపించారు.

Development of BCs is before and after TEDPA..
If we talk about priority for BCs, it can be said before and after TEDPA. In the long political history of 45 years, BCs were supported by then TDP and now NDA governments. Before the emergence of TDP, politics was limited to a few groups. NTR was the first person who thought of providing state power to all communities. He gave political life to BC leaders like Errannaidu, Yanamala Ramakrishna, KE Krishnamurthy, Ayyannapatra, Devender Goud and others. Tedepade is credited with providing political representation to BCs from the ward member to the post of Union Minister. That is why for 45 years, the BCs have been with Tedepa Vennante. BC is the main reason for the great victory of the alliance in the 2024 elections. It is the BC community that sustains Andhra Pradesh's economy, rural life, agriculture, artisans, small traders and service sectors.
BCs fall behind when opportunities come
BCs fall behind when opportunities come. The alliance government will take the responsibility of giving them opportunities and doing justice in all ways. One scheme per family is welfare. If a youth gets a job it is development. If a BC woman and youth are brought to the level of decision-making power in the governance of village, mandal and corporation, that is their true empowerment. That is why these reservations are preferred.
I implemented 34% reservation for BCs
In 1986 NTR first brought 20% reservation in local bodies to BCs. Implemented in District and Mandal Praja Parishads. In 1995, when I was the Chief Minister, it was increased to 34 percent. In 2001, 2006, 2013 local body elections, we implemented 34 percent reservation for BCs.
The Vaikapa government reduced it to 24.15 percent
When the Vaikapa government came in 2019, it did injustice to the BCs. Jive brought 76. If the High Court struck it down, at least it did not appeal to the Supreme Court. Jagan has cases for 15 years.. They are going from the lower court to the higher court on them. Law is no stranger to litigation. But they did not go to the Supreme Court to give justice to the BCs. Jagane is number-1 in betraying BCs. BC reservation was unilaterally reduced from 34 percent to 24.15 percent through 559 and 560 JEWs. As a result, 16,800 BCs lost their political positions. But TDP has always stood by the BCs. Nagaraju, who was a member of MPTC, was made Kurnool MP. That is our policy.
During the Vaikapa regime between 2019-24, what happened to the BCs was not only political oppression, but endless persecution. A case of rape was filed against Ayyannapatra. Illegal cases were filed against Achchennaidu, Kollu Ravindra, Koona Ravikumar, Yanamala Ramakrishnadu and Palla Srinivas. At least no case was filed if petrol was poured on Amarnath Goud in Raypalle and set on fire. Thota Chandraya was brutally murdered by strangulation. Nandam Subbaiah was brutally killed. Even though they lost their lives, they did not abandon their principles. During Vaikapa's reign, 56 corporations were set up for BC. Not even a single rupee has been allocated. At least chairs were not arranged for the chairmen to sit.
Vaikapa leaders will go to court on BC reservations too
Vaikapa leaders have tried to stop Mega DSC by filing 350 cases in courts. After overcoming all these, DSC was conducted transparently and teacher jobs are now being dramatized as if there were irregularities. Also they will try to go to court on BC reservation. If this is the case, the BC should be irreparably damaged in the state.
Would Vaikapa leaders be held accountable?
Even if it is thought that the opposition will come to the House in the historical context of providing 34 percent reservation in local body elections to BCs. Vaikapa leaders want privileges but do not take responsibilities. Jagan doesn't have time to hoist the national flag on Independence Day? What should we do with such party leaders?
- We are going to implement 5 policies to empower BCs. Special measures will be taken for their education, skill, employment, entrepreneurship and political representation. Out of the total 119 BC Gurukuls in the state, 93 came during the TDP regime. We will soon make Gurukul available to 90 thousand students staying in 993 BC hostels in the state.
- From 16th Finance Commission to rural area Rs. 2,300 crores and Rs.1562 crores for the urban area should come from the Center as a grant. Funds of Rs.3,862 crore will be released only if elections are held. Good leadership should be selected and promoted from the backward communities on behalf of the alliance in local body elections. We should bring the belief that the NDA government has recognized and given opportunities and provided participation in the governance. When NTR was CM, he implemented sari-dhowati scheme at half price, employment for handloom workers and cloth for the poor. I have provided 341 types of modern equipment at 90 percent discount under Adharana scheme to artisans and castes. For the first time, we set up MBC Corporation to support the nomads. We have spent Rs.32,534 crores through various welfare programs in two years.

- We are running 200 units of free electricity for handloom workers and 500 units for powerloom workers. We are providing Rs.25 thousand per year to each handloom family under Netannala Sevalo scheme. We are giving them Rs.20 thousand during hunting break. We are offering diesel for boats at a discount. We are going to provide power boats.
- We are running free electricity up to 200 units to salons run by Nayi Brahmins. We have increased the honorarium of Brahmins working in temples from Rs.15 thousand to Rs.20 thousand.
- We have established a special corporation for goldsmiths.
- We are giving a subsidy of Rs.98 thousand to BCs who install solar rooftop on houses.
