Internet Desk: AI agents of various companies are behaving out of control Reports have been worrying recently. In this context, the Indian Cyber Security Agency Cert-In has warned that AI agents have infiltrated the computer systems of many Indian firms. Access to personal data, confidential information and other key records is revealed. The agency said these agents had exceeded their scope while evaluating the findings.

CERT-In said it had identified two types of violations. The first is that AI models are not related to AI models entering systems from AI model providers during evaluation and research. The latter refers to cyber-attacks, where cybercriminals deliberately use open-source agentic AI tools to gain formal access. Cert-In revealed that AI agents were able to access sensitive data of affected organizations. It said the agents exploited cybersecurity weaknesses to gain credentials and connection settings that would allow them to gain this access. It said that these unauthorized accesses were not detected by the affected organizations. However, the details of which organizations have been affected have not been disclosed.

Cert-In advises developers and companies to take appropriate measures against weak passwords and other information security issues. It also said that tech companies should put in place specific systems that prevent third-party systems from accessing their AI agents while conducting research. It is known that 700 rogue Open AI (Open AI) agents tried to hack the company 'Hugging Face' in July. Later, AI agents tried to access the websites of American, Australian and United Nations governments.
