Dharmasagar, Newstoday: Polu Venkateshwarlu (45) of Chilpur, Janagama district, was killed on the outskirts of Rampur Oora pond in Kazipet mandal of Hanumakonda district on Monday. He was killed in the middle of the night. According to Kazipet CI Shyamsundar, Polu Venkateswarlu and Rajamani have two daughters. Prema married younger daughter Ramya to Vinay, son of their neighbor Ambati Parameshwar, in 2022. Divorced in 2023. Panchayats were held many times between Venkateswarlu (Venkanna) and Vinay's father Parameshwar in this matter. Once, in the presence of big men, Parameshwar tried to cut Venkateshwar's neck with a blade, but the locals stopped him. There are fights between them. On Monday night around 7:45 pm when everyone was having dinner in the house, Damera Sampat from Chilpur came and took Venkanna out saying let's talk about this quarrel and take Parameshwar. At 11:30 pm, when he did not come, Rajamani Sampath, the wife of the deceased, went home and found him not there. After calling him and asking him, he dropped him on a two-wheeler at the village panchayat. On Tuesday morning, Chilumula Venkataswamy of Rampur called some people from Chilpur and informed them that Ambati Paramesh and Polu Venkateswarlu had been strangled with a knife at Madelayya Gudi in the suburbs of Rampur Pond. According to a pre-planned plan, Ambati Parameshwar and Sampath killed Venkateswarlu by cutting his throat with a knife and hitting him on the head, police said. Kazipet ACP Pingili Prashant Reddy, Kazipet CI Shyamsundar, Dharmasagar SSI Dileep and CLUES team came to the spot and examined the incident. As per Rajamani's complaint, a case was registered and the body was sent to Warangal MGM Mortuary for postmortem.   

Who are the accused..? 

Looking at the incident of murder, it is suspected that it was not done by one person but at least three to five people. Rajamani, the wife of the deceased, filed a complaint against both of them. It is reported that one person is currently in police custody. Under the command of Raghunathpally CI Srinivas Reddy, the police have made heavy security in Chilpur.
