Today, Hyderabad: The winter sessions of the Legislature and Council are likely to be held till the 5th of next month. After that a decision will be taken in the next 'Business Advisory Committee (BAC)' on the continuation of both houses. The winter assembly and council meetings started on Monday at 10.30 am..the council at 11.10 am..the assembly was adjourned at 12.30 pm. Legislative Assembly and Council meetings will resume from the 2nd of next month. On the first day of the session, condolence resolutions were passed for the late former MLAs Ram Reddy Damodar Reddy and Konda Lakshmareddy.. Merger of ORR municipalities in GHMC, increase in the number of GHMC wards from 150 to 300, government job for the son of public poet late Andeshree, removal of two-child rule in local bodies, Telangana GST amendment, employees Two ordinances relating to rationalization and amendment of pay structure, amendments to the Panchayat Raj Act, bills to legalize gazette publication ordinances relating to Panchayat Raj and rural development were introduced in the House. Telangana Comprehensive Training (TSS) Audit Report, Telangana PM School for Rising India Audit Report, Horticulture Development Corporation Annual Accounts and other documents were placed before the Assembly. Then Zero Hour continued in the House for about two hours. Later, the Speaker announced that the meeting will be adjourned to the 2nd of next month. Earlier, the Legislative Council was also adjourned after the condolence resolutions.

Former Chief Minister and President of India KCR attended the first day of the assembly session on Monday. Before the start of the meeting, he sat in the seat allotted to him as the leader of the opposition. As the meeting will start in a few minutes, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who entered the meeting, went directly to the seat where KCR was sitting and met him politely. Revanth Reddy greeted and shook hands with KCR who stood up on the CM's arrival. KCR also shook hands with the CM after salutation. Kushala asked about the health of the Bharasa leader. The CM also greeted former ministers Talasani Srinivasyadav, Gangula Kamalakar and others. Along with the Chief Minister, government whips and many ministers also came and greeted KCR. After that, the meeting started with the singing of the National Anthem. On the occasion of condolence resolutions being introduced in the House... KCR came out of the House... and went straight to his residence in Nandinagar. Before the commencement of the assembly, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was welcomed by Ministers Konda Surekha, Azharuddin, Government Whips Adi Srinivas, Birla Ailaiah, Government Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, Council Secretary Dr. Narasimhacharya, Assembly Secretary Tirupati and others. Bharata MLAs KP Vivekananda, Kaleru Venkatesh, Kota Prabhakar Reddy and others presented flowers and invited KCR. After the adjournment, the Assembly BAC met in the Speaker's Chamber under the chairmanship of Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti, Legislative Affairs Minister Sridhar Babu, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Whip Birla Ailaiah, Bharasa MLAs Harishrao, Vemula Prashanth Reddy.. BJP, MIM, CPI Legislative Party Leaders ALT Maheshwar Reddy, Akbaruddin Owaisi, Koonanneni Sambasivarao, Legislative Assembly Secretary Tirupati, Council Secretary Narasimhacharya participated. Members of Bharasa demanded that the Legislative Assembly should be held for at least 15 days and discuss public issues. If the government gives PPT on river waters, they asked to give them a chance too. On this occasion, it is learned that Bhatti Vikramarka reminded that during the Bharasa regime, as the then opposition, they were not given a chance to do PPT.. in protest. They said that they couldn't give a chance then because of asking at the last minute, now they are asking for it in advance, if you don't give it now, should we also walk out? It is reported that members of Bharasa asked. Prashanth Reddy complained that the opposition MLAs in the constituencies are not following the protocol and even today Christmas celebrations are being held at Balkonda without him. It is learned that the speaker has promised to focus on this issue. Members of Bharasa said that in the last two years, not a single issue proposed by them as the main opposition was accepted for discussion, but this time, the members of Bharata asked to discuss on 15 proposed issues like urea shortage, loan waiver, crop bonus, farmer insurance, job calendar etc. BJP leader Maheshwar Reddy demanded to hold the meeting for 20 days. They want to put 32 public issues before the BAC and give them an opportunity to discuss them. It is learned that Speaker Prasad Kumar said on this occasion that a decision will be taken depending on the factors on how many days the House will be held. The BAC chaired by Chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy in the Legislative Council also discussed the management of meetings. On this occasion, it is known that many have requested to give funds for the development of the constituency to the MLCs as well. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti, Minister Sridhar Babu, Deputy Chairman Banda Prakash, Leader of Opposition in the Council Madhusudanachari, MLCs Mahesh Kumar Goud, AVN Reddy, Nellikanti Satyam and others participated in the meeting.
