Bommanahal: An incident took place in Bommanahal of Anantapur district where a man absconded after taking a loan from fellow farmers for investment in agriculture. According to the police, a farmer named Rupanagudi Manohar in Dargahannoor village of Bommanahal mandal received Rs. He borrowed 40.85 lakhs. Later he sold the four acre farm and his own house in his name. He gave the IP that he has no assets and is insolvent. After receiving IP notices to the lenders, the victims protested in front of Bommanahal police station demanding justice. They were upset that he ran away believing that he would sell the farm and the house.
