TG News: Dissolution of PACS, DCCB ruling groups in Telangana

Hyderabad: The state government has abolished the governing bodies of State Cooperative Central Bank, District Cooperative Central Banks and Agricultural Basic Cooperative Societies. The Cooperation Department has issued orders to appoint officers as in-charges for Tescob, DCCBs and PACS. Along with 904 PACS and 9 DCCBs in the state, the tenure of Tescob governing bodies ended in February. On February 14, the government issued an order continuing the person-in-charge of the previous administration as managing committees for 6 months. After that, it issued an order on August 14, extending it indefinitely. It has issued an order canceling that JVO and appointing officers in charge of PACS, DCCBs and Tescob. Government is working to reorganize DCCBs according to new districts and PACS according to new mandals.
