ఈనాడు, హైదరాబాద్: తాజ్ జీవీకే హోటల్స్ అండ్ రిసార్ట్స్ లిమిటెడ్లో ఇండియన్ హోటల్స్ కంపెనీ లిమిటెడ్ (ఐహెచ్సీఎల్)కు ఉన్న 25.52% వాటా జీవీకే- భూపాల్ కుటుంబం చేతికి రానుంది. It has been decided to convert the existing shareholders' venture agreement between these two companies into a long-term management agreement. ఈ లావాదేవీ పూర్తయ్యాక తాజ్ జీవీకే హోటల్స్ అండ్ రిసార్ట్స్లో జీవీకే - భూపాల్ కుటుంబానికి 74.99% వాటా ఉన్నట్లు అవుతుంది. Krishna Bhupal, Joint MD of Taj GVK Hotels and Resorts said that for more than twenty years, IHCL and GVK-Bhupal family have developed seven star hotels with more than 1500 rooms. He said that these hotels located in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Chandigarh are active in the hospitality sector. వచ్చే అయిదేళ్లలో 4,000 గదుల స్థాయికి విస్తరించాలనే లక్ష్యంతో ముందుకు సాగుతున్నట్లు వివరించారు. జీవీకే- భూపాల్ కుటుంబంతో ఐహెచ్సీఎల్కు ఉన్న భాగస్వామ్యం హైదరాబాద్లోని తాజ్ కృష్ణా హోటల్ నుంచి ముంబయిలోని తాజ్ శాంతాక్రూజ్ వరకూ విస్తరించిందని ఐహెచ్సీఎల్ ఎండీ, సీఈఓ పునీత్ చత్వాల్ అన్నారు.
