Hyderabad: If making a film is one step.. release it in theatres. Another height to do! Does the real test for small filmmakers begin after the production of the film? Who is behind the lack of theaters for the producers who have invested and taken loans to make films? Discrimination continues in the Telugu film industry when it comes to small films? The sensational allegations made by 'O Andala Rakshasi' hero and producer Shiraj Mehdi have now become a topic of discussion. He expressed his concern that there is no one who cares about the hardships of the producers of small films. It is stated that the producers are spending huge amount of money for the production of the film and are facing difficulties in business. He expressed his regret that it was unfortunate that the producer who came forward to make the film did not have people who stood by him after the completion of the film.

Film Chamber did not give encouragement to the production of the film, but asked who should the small producers turn to if they face obstacles during the release. They demanded that a Telangana branch should be established in place of the Telugu Film Chamber.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Shiraj Mehdi appealed to the state government to respond immediately and support small films. They asked for measures like providing subsidies to small budget films, bringing transparency in theater allocations, and increasing opportunities for sales of OTT and satellite rights. He opined that if the government takes the initiative, there will be a chance for justice for small films.
