పుంగనూరు: మున్సిపల్ ఎన్నికల (AndhraPradesh Local Body Elections) నామినేషన్‌ కేంద్రానికి ఎంపీ మిథున్‌రెడ్డి దాదాపు 100 మంది అనుచరులతో కలిసి వచ్చారని అన్నమయ్య జిల్లా ఎస్పీ ధీరజ్‌ తెలిపారు. ఇవాళ ఉదయం పుంగనూరులో చోటు చేసుకున్న ఉద్రిక్తతపై ఆయన స్పందించారు. నామినేషన్‌ వేసే అభ్యర్థితోపాటు మరో ఇద్దరికి మాత్రమే కేంద్రం వద్దకు అనుమతి ఉందని, వంద మీటర్ల దూరం నిబంధనలను కూడా మిథున్‌రెడ్డి ఉల్లంఘించి గేట్లను వాహనాలతో ఢీ కొట్టారని చెప్పారు. ఈ ఘటనపై తెదేపా అభ్యర్థులు, స్థానికులు నిరసన తెలిపారని, ఇరువర్గాల మధ్య ఘర్షణ జరిగితే పోలీసులు చెదరగొట్టారని మీడియాకు తెలిపారు.‘‘ నామినేషన్‌ కేంద్రంలోకి ఒక వాహనం అతివేగంగా వచ్చింది. నామినేషన్‌ కేంద్రంలోని అభ్యర్థులు, ప్రజలపైకి దూసుకెళ్లింది. కొందరికి గాయాలైతే ఆస్పత్రికి తరలించాం. ఎవరైనా చట్టాన్ని తమ చేతుల్లోకి తీసుకుంటే కఠినంగా శిక్షిస్తాం’’ అని ఎస్పీ హెచ్చరించారు.
