Mixed Doubles Cricket! Internet Desk: Tennis, Badminton, Archery.. We often hear the term mixed doubles in such sports. Male and female players take to the field together as a team. Now we are going to see mixed gender matches for the first time in cricket. It is noteworthy that it is also an 80 over format. The venue for that is Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. Sinhalese Sports Club will organize this tournament from November 14 to 29 under the name of 'Test Twenty'.

Two balls.. Parity Rule

* Around 160 people aged 13 to 21 years from four continents have been selected by the tournament committee. Divided into four teams.

* One team consists of 20 boys and 20 girls. 80 overs match is played in a single day.

* Don't think that only one team will play 80 overs. Each team will play 40 overs. If not.. will bat twice.

* The first 20-20 match will be played in daylight with red ball wearing white clothes.  The second 20-20 match will be played under floodlights with colored jerseys with a white ball.

* The toss ( Cricket News) is very important for this match. The team that won the toss will choose to bat or bowl.. Will the girls play first? Do boys play? can be decided.

* Parity Rule is a special attraction in mixed gender cricket. Parity means equality. Organizers say that the main purpose of this is to give equal opportunities to boys and girls. All these runs will be added together to determine the final result.
