Washington: Between Russia, Ukraine US President Donald Trump announced on Sunday that the energy ceasefire has come into effect immediately. Both sides have agreed to stop mutual attacks on energy infrastructure like electricity, oil and gas, he said. Both parties were advised not to violate this agreement. To this extent, he has posted as 'Truth Social' platform.

“We discussed the ceasefire announced by Trump. Ukraine supports ceasefire. Similarly it needs Russian support. "We are waiting for more details from the US," President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said in X. On another occasion, Zelensky announced that Ukraine was ready to stop targeting the country's oil refineries if Russia stopped attacks on its energy facilities. Meanwhile, it is noteworthy that no response has been received from Russia on Trump's announcement.

Washington: Republican Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick has announced that he will try to block President Trump's decision to lift sanctions on Russian diesel. He revealed that he will bring a bipartisan bill for this. Another Republican congressman, Don Bacon, supported Patrick's proposal. But as the term of the House of Representatives will end in January, there will not be enough time for the passage of the bill. Because of this their effort will remain nominal.
