Delhi: The movement against Central Election Commission Chief Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar continued for the second consecutive day in Delhi. About 200 people who were going towards Jantar Mantar were detained by the police on Sunday. Protests continued at different places in Delhi despite strict security arrangements everywhere to prevent anyone from going to that area. Along with CJP, leaders of student and youth organizations participated in it. Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) leaders Abhijeet Deepke, Ashutosh Ranka and Sourav Das, who were arrested at the Delhi airport on the first day, were produced before the Delhi Cantonment Executive Magistrate on Sunday and released on a bond of Rs 50,000 on the orders of the judge. The police disclosed that they were released on the condition that they would not commit any violations for a year. The CJP said that the release of the leaders was a great legal victory for them. It has been announced that the movement will be intensified. "After all, Delhi Police had to release our leaders. "Cockroaches never die," declared Xlo.

Sourav Das said in a press conference that the government has turned against its own people and instead of imposing control on the protests, a delegation should have been called for talks. They expressed concern that their mobile phones were seized by the police without giving any receipt and there is a possibility of hacking or cloning them. He commented that there is a possibility that any documents will be inserted in them and later the police will show them as evidence against them. Modi government is creating an emergency like environment in Delhi. However, our concern continues. There will be protests not only in Delhi but across the country. These will not stop until Gyanesh resigns. We were told not to disturb the peace for a year. "The violators of peace are Prime Minister Modi, Amit Shah and Gyanesh Kumar," he said. He asked if Gyanesh knows how Modi lost in Varanasi in 2024 elections and then won. They said they will meet the police on Monday to request a date for a peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar.

20 FIRs have been registered in connection with Saturday's agitation. The police personnel were charged with assault and obstruction of duty.
