Internet Desk: After completing 12 years of the NDA government.. PM Narendra Modi has created a record as the longest serving Prime Minister. The opposition Congress (Congress) responded and criticized Modi. Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said that he may have crossed the self-proclaimed milestone, but he has become a big problem for the country. He said that Modi is leading the murder of democracy in the country instead of governance. Jairam Ramesh said that on 15 August 1947, Jawaharlal Nehru (Nehru) presided over a wonderful cabinet and became the Prime Minister of India. He said that modern India emerged within five years under the rule of that cabinet which is rare in the world. He said that more than 560 princely states were peacefully merged into the Indian Union and the Constitution of India was approved. He said that the country has emerged as a force in world affairs with decisions like abolition of zamindari system in the country, reservation for scheduled castes and tribes and irrigation projects.  They alleged that Modi is trying to erase from history the records set by the country when Nehru was the Prime Minister between 1947-52.

While Nehru won with huge majority in 1952, 1957 and 1962 elections, Jairam Ramesh complained that Modi did not even get minimum majority in 2024. He said that in order to become the Prime Minister, he had to gather support by giving bribes to the NDA leaders. He said that under the Modi administration, democratic systems such as the Independent Election Commission and the sacred electoral roll have come under threat. He said that with the scandals of paper leaks, the future of students has become questionable. Duyyabatta said that many government assets are being used by some rich people in the name of privatization. Scheduled Castes and Tribes have been criticized for undermining the reservation provided to Other Backward Classes (OBC).
