ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా నెలకొన్న ఆరోగ్య పరిణామాలు, అంటువ్యాధులు వంటి అంశాలను సమీక్షించి ఈ నిషేధం విధించినట్లు సౌదీ ఫుడ్ అండ్ డ్రగ్ అథారిటీ వెల్లడించింది. 40 దేశాల నుంచి పౌల్ట్రీ, గుడ్లపై సంపూర్ణ నిషేధం అమల్లో ఉంటుందని పేర్కొంది. ఈ జాబితాలో భారత్తో పాటు అఫ్గానిస్థాన్, చైనా, జర్మనీ, ఇండోనేసియా, యూకే, జపాన్, బంగ్లాదేశ్, నేపాల్ వంటి దేశాలు ఉన్నాయి. ఇక, మరో 16 దేశాల్లోని నిర్దిష్ట ప్రాంతాలపై పాక్షిక ఆంక్షలు విధించింది. ఆస్ట్రేలియా, అమెరికా, ఇటలీ, భూటాన్, ఫ్రాన్స్ వంటి దేశాలపై ఈ పాక్షిక ఆంక్షలు అమలవుతాయని తెలిపింది.
