గ్రేటర్ నోయిడా: అభివృద్ధి చెందిన దేశంగా మారాలంటే దేశీయంగా చిప్లు తయారు చేయడం చాలా ముఖ్యమని ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీ శనివారం వెల్లడించారు. హెచ్సీఎల్ గ్రూప్, ఫాక్స్కాన్ల సంయుక్త సంస్థ (జేవీ) అయిన ఇండియా చిప్ ప్రైవేట్ లిమిటెడ్ శంకుస్థాపనకు దృశ్య మాధ్యమ విధానంలో మోదీ పాల్గొన్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ, కొవిడ్-19 మహమ్మారి సమయంలో చిప్ల సరఫరా వ్యవస్థలో అంతరాయాలు అనేక ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థల అభివృద్ధిని నిలిపివేసిందని, వివిధ ప్లాంట్లలో పనులు నిలిచిపోయాయని తెలిపారు. ‘మన దేశం స్వయం సమృద్ధిగా ఉన్నప్పుడే అభివృద్ధి చెందిన దేశంగా నిర్మితమవుతుంది. దీని కోసం మేడిన్ ఇండియా చిప్ చాలా ముఖ్యం. మన దేశం సాంకేతిక రంగంలో ఏం చేసినా, అది 21వ శతాబ్దంలో మన సామర్థ్యానికి పునాది అవుతుంద’ని మోదీ వెల్లడించారు. హెచ్సీఎల్ గ్రూప్, ఫాక్స్కాన్ జేవీ ఓశాట్ (ఔట్సోర్స్డ్ సెమీకండక్టర్ అసెంబ్లీ అండ్ టెస్ట్) ప్లాంట్ గ్రేటర్ నోయిడాలోని జెవార్ దగ్గరున్న యమునా ఎక్స్ప్రెస్వే పారిశ్రామిక అభివృద్ధి ప్రాధికారిక సంస్థ (వైఈఐడీఏ) వద్ద రాబోతోంది. ఇండియా చిప్ ప్రై.లి.లో హెచ్సీఎల్ గ్రూప్నకు 60 శాతం, ఫాక్స్కాన్కు 40 శాతం వాటా ఉంది. ఈ సంస్థ వచ్చే కొన్నేళ్లలో రూ.3,700 కోట్లకు పైగా పెట్టుబడులు పెట్టబోతోంది. 2028 నాటికి కార్యకలాపాలు ప్రారంభమయ్యే అవకాశం ఉంది. ఈ ప్లాంటులో డిస్ప్లే డ్రైవర్ చిప్లు తయారవుతాయి. ఈ సంస్థ ద్వారా ప్రత్యక్షంగా, పరోక్షంగా 3,500 మందికి పైగా ఉద్యోగ, ఉపాధి అవకాశాలు లభిస్తాయి.
