Kanishka Bisht (17), a student from Chandigarh, was admitted to the hospital. From there he came directly to the examination center in an ambulance and wrote the 12th class board examination with the help of oxygen. Medical assistants also came with her. Kanishka, who has health issues since childhood, has been battling severe pneumonia for more than a month. Out of 13 days in ICU, he was kept on ventilator for 10 days. The ventilator was removed less than three days ago. Calling her Sasemira despite doctors and family members, she came to the center set up at Manimajara Government School in Chandigarh and took the physics exam. She was brought in on a stretcher. Due to Kanishka's health condition, the CBSE board has given one hour extra time.
