జఫర్గఢ్, న్యూస్టుడే: ఇద్దరు కుమారులు జన్మించారని సంతోషపడిన ఆ కుటుంబంలో తీరని శోకమే మిగిలింది. చిన్న కుమారుడికి మెదడు ఎదుగుదల లేక 25 ఏళ్లుగా ఇంటికే పరిమితమయ్యాడు. తల్లిదండ్రులు అతడిని కంటికి రెప్పలా కాపాడుకుంటూ కాలం వెల్లదీస్తున్నారు. జనగామ జిల్లా జఫర్గఢ్ మండలం షాపల్లికి చెందిన పెద్దూరి ప్రభాకర్, రజిత దంపతులు. 2001లో జన్మించిన చిన్న కుమారుడు తరుణ్కుమార్ ఆరు నెలల కాలంలో కాలు కదపడం, మాటలతో సైగలు చేయకపోవడంతో తల్లిదండ్రులు హనుమకొండలోని ఓ ప్రైవేటు ఆసుపత్రికి తీసుకెళ్లారు. వైద్యులు పరీక్షించి మెదడు ఎదుగుదల లేదని చెప్పారు. మెరుగుపడడం కోసం నెలకొక ఇంజక్షన్ ఇవ్వాలని.. రూ.30 వేలు ఖర్చు అవుతుందని తెలిపారు. వైద్యం చేయించే ఆర్థిక స్తోమత లేక మందులతో కాలం వెల్లదీస్తున్నారు. ప్రభాకర్, రజిత దంపతులు శనివారం న్యూస్టుడేతో మాట్లాడుతూ.. నెలకు రూ.3 వేలు మందులకు ఖర్చు అవుతుంది. ఇప్పటివరకు రూ.7.50 లక్షల వరకు ఖర్చు చేశాం. ఆపరేషన్ చేయాలంటే రూ.50 లక్షలు ఖర్చు అవుతుందని వైద్యులు అంటున్నారు. అంత ఖర్చు పెట్టి వైద్యం చేయించే స్థితిలో తాము లేమని వారు ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. దాతలు, ప్రభుత్వం ముందుకు వచ్చి తమ కుమారుడికి వైద్యం చేయించాలని వేడుకుంటున్నారు.
