But, acting as an international policeman and judge, it is not appropriate for America to take unilateral action with the use of force. Treating an independent head of state as a common criminal is against international decency. Coming out of the New York court, Maduro claimed that he was a kidnapped president and a prisoner of war!

Unfortunately, in recent times, the tendency to resolve differences and disputes between countries by force is prevalent. Venezuela has declared its support for the well-being and security of the people, saying that it is carefully monitoring the situation there. All the concerned parties are requested to settle the differences peacefully and achieve stability. This means that India does not condemn the US military action against Venezuela, nor does it object that the superpower has violated international standards. With that, there is growing concern that the world is going back to the colonial era. Although America says that the goal is to damage Maduro's narco-terrorism, it seems that the real intention is to seize the oil deposits there.
