బెంగళూరు (యశ్వంతపుర), న్యూస్టుడే : ‘భువనేశ్వరితో చాన్నాళ్లుగా వేగలోకపోయా. ఆమె తీరుతో విసిగి వేసారి చివరికి కడతేర్చాలనుకున్నా. ఆ క్రమంలోనే తుపాకీ ఎలా ఉపయోగించాలో శిక్షణ పొందా’నని ఆ భర్త బాలమురుగన్ చెబుతుంటే విస్తుపోవడం పోలీసు అధికారుల వంతైంది. డిసెంబరు 24న భువనేశ్వరి హత్య నగరాన్ని కుదిపేసింది. కేసు దర్యాప్తు వేళ కీలకమైన విషయాలు వెలుగు చూశాయి. ‘నాకు దూరమైంది. అంతటితో ఊరుకోక మరొకడికి చేరువైంది. ఆమెకు ఎలాగైనా బుద్ధి చెప్పాలని నిర్ణయించుకున్నా. కడతేర్చడమే మిగిలింది. అందుకే తుపాకీ కాల్చడంలో శిక్షణ పొందా’ అంటూ కేసు దర్యాప్తు చేస్తున్న మాగడి రోడ్డు ఠాణా అధికారులకు మురుగన్ వివరించాడు. ‘వెస్ట్ ఆఫ్ కార్డ్’ రహదారిలో ఉంటోన్న భువనేశ్వరిని కడతేర్చడానికి తుపాకీ కొనుగోలు చేయాలని మురుగన్ మూడు సార్లు బిహార్కు వెళ్లాడట. అక్కడ రెండుసార్లు దళారుల చేతుల్లో మోసపోయి డబ్బు పొగొట్టుకున్నాడు.
మూడోసారి బిహార్కు వెళ్లి ‘సరైన వ్యక్తుల’ను కలుసుకుని, నగదు చెల్లించి రెండు ఆయుధాలు కొనుగోలు చేశాడని పోలీసు దర్యాప్తులో తేలింది. ‘వాటిని కొన్నా. పేల్చడం నాకు రాకపోవడంతో పక్షం రోజులు అక్కడే ఉండి తుపాకీ ఎలా కాల్చాలో శిక్షణ పొందా. బెంగళూరుకు తిరిగి వచ్చాక తుపాకీ ఉపయోగించడంలో తడబడతాననే భయంతో తమిళనాడుకు చెందిన సుపారీ కిల్లర్తో ఒప్పందం చేసుకున్నా. ఆ వ్యక్తికి రూ.1.50 లక్షలు, ఆ తుపాకీ ఇచ్చా. ఆ కిల్లర్ కొద్ది రోజులు ఆమె కదలికలనున గమనించినా హత్యచేయలేక వెనక్కివెళ్లిపోయాడు. ఇక నేనే కాల్చేద్దామని ప్రయత్నించినా కాలేదు. మళ్లీ ఆ సుపారీ హంతకుడిని బతిమాలి రప్పించా. ఈసారి అతడి గురి తప్పలేదు. గుండ్లు ఆమె శరీరంలోకి దూసుకుపోయాయి. అంతా.. నేనే చంపానని అనుకున్నారు. ఆ వ్యక్తి ఎటు పారిపోయాడో నాకు తెలియదు’ అంటూ పోలీసులకు వివరించాడు. మురుగన్ అందించిన సమాచారంతో హంతకుడి వేట మళ్లీ మొదలుపెట్టామని సంబంధిత అధికారులు వెల్లడించారు.
