Gruha Jyothi: Griha Jyothi for the beneficiaries of Indiramma houses

Today, Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka said that up to 200 units of free electricity scheme will be implemented under the Griha Jyoti scheme for those who have built houses under the Indiramma scheme and those who have newly got ration cards. It is advised to apply to the Public Administration Officers in the Municipal and MPDO offices for the implementation of the new scheme and for addition of changes. He explained that 52.82 lakh poor and middle class families across the state are benefiting through Grihajyoti and since his government came to power, the state government has paid more than Rs.3,593 crores on behalf of the beneficiaries. According to the rules, the scheme will be implemented only up to 200 units. He said that the scheme is applicable only if the beneficiaries of Indiramma houses use less than 200 units. He answered the questions of members Vamsikrishna, Madhusudan Reddy, Adi Srinivas, Nagaraju, Kavvampalli Satyanarayana, Danam Nagender and others on Grihajyoti in the Legislative Assembly on Saturday. Out of 1.15 crore families in the state, a total of 52,82,498 families are benefiting under the Griha Jyoti scheme. Bhatti said that 65,862 families in former CM KCR's constituency Gajwel... 50,398 families in Siddipet are benefiting. Earlier, many MLAs said that if there are more than 10-15 units in Griha Jyothi beyond 200, they are collecting bills for all the units and in some places they are removing them from the scheme. He asked to apply the scheme to the beneficiaries of Indiramma houses.

It is our responsibility to respect the famous poet and public artist Andeshri, said Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka. He introduced the Bills in the House regarding the creation of a government job for Andeshree's son Dattasai as an assistant professor, regularization of 7,991 contract and neighborhood service employees, 'regularization of appointments to Telangana public services, regularization of appointments to services - rationalization of wage structure'. The House approved these two bills after discussion. Speaking on this occasion, Bhatti said that in the wake of Andeshri's sudden death, we have provided a job to his son. Also, in recognition of Gaddar's sacrifices, we have established an award in his name. Later, talking about the contract and neighborhood services bill, we are amending the law to regularize the jobs of 7,991 people including junior assistants, drivers and fourth class employees. This will put a burden of Rs. 2,295 crores on the exchequer every year,” said Bhatti. Members of Congress, Dr. Samel, Shankaraiah and Kambhampati Anilkumar Reddy supported the bills. 

BJP member Dhanpal Suryanarayana said.. 'We support giving a job to Andeshri's son. 1,200 people were martyred for Telangana between 2001-14. Governments have neglected to repay their debt. As stated in the Congress election manifesto, their family members should be given a 250-yard home plot and a job for the family. Palvai Harish said.. The 400 cultural leaders who played in the movement were asked to provide jobs and ensure the artistes.
