మన దగ్గర ఎంతుందన్నది కాదు... మన తోడుగా ఎవరున్నారన్నది లెక్క! ఎక్కువ సమాచారం తెలుసుకుంటున్నా... ఎక్కువ డిగ్రీలు సంపాదిస్తున్నా... ఎక్కువ గంటలు పనిచేస్తున్నా... ఎక్కువ సాంకేతికతను ఉపయోగిస్తున్నా... నా అన్నవారు నీకుండాలి! చదువు ఉన్నా ఉద్యోగం లేదు. ఉద్యోగం ఉన్నా స్థిరత్వం లేదు. స్థిరత్వం ఉన్నా మానసిక ప్రశాంతత లేదు. ఈ దశలో ఏమున్నా, లేకున్నా.. మనసులో మాట పంచుకోడానికి. మేమున్నామంటూ నిలబడడానికి. పదిమందీ కావాల్సిందే! మరి ఆ సామాజిక సంపద మీకుందా?
నలుగురితో కలిసి ఉండటం అత్యవసరమైన ప్రస్తుత పరిస్థితుల్లో అందరికీ దూరంగా, ఒంటరిగా బతికేస్తే ఎలా?నీకోసం తపించే నలుగురిని పోగేసుకోకుంటే ఎలా?డిజిటల్ కనెక్షన్ ఉంది. కానీ మనుషుల కనెక్షన్ లేదు...ఇది ఈ యుగపు ప్రమాదం! ఈ కొత్త సంవత్సరం వేళ ఒక విషయాన్ని గుర్తుంచుకోవాలి. మన మూలాల్లోకి వెళ్లాలి. సామాజిక సంబంధాలు బలపరుచుకోవాలి. ఒకరికి కష్టం వస్తే పదుగురు నిలబడాలి.
రాజేష్ అనేక వాట్సప్ గ్రూపుల్లో సభ్యుడు... రకరకాల సమాచారాలు చలామణీ చేస్తుంటాడు. ఒక రోజు హఠాత్తుగా ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకున్నాడని తెలిసింది. అంతా ఆశ్చర్యపోయారు.
ఎందుకు అలా చేశాడు? అని ఎవరో వాట్సప్ గ్రూపుల్లో ప్రశ్నించారు.
ఏ ఒక్కరి నుంచీ సమాధానం రాలేదు. ఎవరికి వారే తమకు తెలియదంటే తమకు తెలియదని చెబుతూపోయారు.
ఇంతమందితో సంబంధ బాంధవ్యాలు ఉన్న ఆ మనిషికి ఎవరితోనూ మనసు విప్పి మాట్లాడుకునేంత బంధం లేదు.
అందుకే మనకు కావాల్సింది వందల మందితో నెట్వర్క్ కాదు.. నలుగురైనా ఆత్మీయులు ఉండడం. చక్కని హృదయపూర్వక సంబంధం. మనసులో విషయాలను పంచుకోగలిగే సాన్నిహిత్యం.
తూర్పుగోదావరి జిల్లాలో అదో ఊరు. రాత్రి ఏడు అయ్యేసరికి ఆ వీధి మధ్యలో అటు, ఇటు ఉన్న పెద్ద పెద్ద వీధి అరుగుల ఇళ్ల మీదకు ఆ వీధిలో ఉండేవారంతా చేరేవారు. ముసలి నుంచి చిన్న వాళ్ల వరకు.. ఎన్నో కబుర్లు...అందరి యోగక్షేమాలు..ఆ ఊరి మంచి చెడ్డలు...అందరి విషయాలూ చర్చకు వచ్చేవి. ఒక రోజు ఎవరో అన్నారు. వీరమ్మ గారు ఇంకా రాలేదేమిటి అని... ఈలోపు మరెవరో అన్నారు. వాళ్లింట్లో వాళ్లంతా పెళ్లికి వెళ్లారు. ఈవిడ పెద్దదైందని రాలేనంటే విడిచి వెళ్లారు. రాత్రికి వచ్చేస్తామన్నారు అని. అమ్మా సుశీలా ఒకసారి వెళ్లి చూసిరా... మరో పెద్దాయన పురమాయించారు. ఆమె వెళ్లి చూస్తే వీరమ్మ సాయంత్రం నుంచి తీవ్ర జ్వరంతో బాధపడుతున్నారని తెలిసింది. ఒక్కసారిగా అందరూ స్పందించారు. ఎవరో ఒకరి ఇంట్లో ల్యాండ్ లైన్ ఫోను ఉంటే డాక్టర్ ఉన్నారో లేదో కనుక్కునేందుకు పరుగు తీశారు. మరొకరు రిక్షా తీసుకువచ్చేందుకు సైకిల్ ఎక్కారు. మరో ఇద్దరు, ముగ్గురు మహిళలు ఆమె దగ్గరకు వెళ్లి పరామర్శించారు. వైద్యుని దగ్గరకు వెళ్లేలా సిద్ధం చేశారు. ఆఖరికి ఓ పదిమంది కలిసి ఆమెను డాక్టర్ దగ్గరకు తీసుకువెళ్లారు. బండి ఉన్నాయన దగ్గరలో టౌన్కు వెళ్లి మందులు తెచ్చారు. చదువు, ఉద్యోగం సేవింగ్స్, ఇన్సూరెన్స్...ఉంటే భరోసా!
ఇప్పుడూ ఇవన్నీ అవసరమే... కానీ సరిపోవు!
ఎందుకంటే కాలం మన ముందుచూపు ప్లాన్లతో పాటు బంధాలు, అనుబంధాలు, సంబంధాలను కూడా పరీక్షిస్తోంది.
అన్ని సందర్భాల్లోనూ డబ్బు ఉంటేనే అన్నీ సెట్ అవవు. జీవితంలో డబ్బు ఉన్నా తోటి మనిషి లేకుంటే సమస్య మొదలవుతుంది. బంధాలు, అనుబంధాలు, సమాజం కల్పించే భద్రత.... మనకు కనిపించని సంపద! ఇది బ్యాంకు పాస్ బుక్కుల్లోనో, బ్యాంకు స్టేట్మెంట్లలోనో... ఏటీఎం కార్డుల్లోనో, ప్రామిసరీ నోట్లలోనో కనిపించదు. కానీ సంక్షోభ సమయాల్లో పనికొచ్చే అతిపెద్ద కరెన్సీ అదే!
మనింట్లో ఏదో ఫంక్షన్ పెట్టుకున్నాం. చుట్టాలు, పక్కాలు ఎవ్వరూ లేకుండా కేవలం మనింట్లో సభ్యులే ఉంటే... బంధువులంతా సమయానికి అలా వచ్చి ఇలా వెళ్లిపోతే ఎలా ఉంటుందో ఒక్కసారి ఊహించుకోండి.
ఏదో అనుకోని ఉపద్రవం ఏర్పడి... ఇంట్లో ఎవరో చనిపోయారనుకుందాం. పలకరించేవారు, పక్కన కూడా లేకపోతే ఎలా ఉంటుందో ఊహించుకోవటానికి కూడా ఇబ్బంది పడతాం!
ఓకాలనీలో అన్నీ మధ్య తరగతి కుటుంబాలే...
ఒకరికి కొలువు పోయింది...
ఇంకొకరికి ఆసుపత్రి బిల్లు పెరిగింది
మరొకరికి స్కూల్ ఫీజు సమస్య...
ఒకరు ఫలానా చోట ట్రై చేయి అంటూ ఉద్యోగ రిఫరెన్స్ ఇచ్చారు
ఇంకొకరు తెలిసిన డాక్టర్తో చెప్పించి బిల్లు తగ్గించారు
మరొకరు స్కూల్ కరస్పాండెంట్తో మాట్లాడించి... ఫీజు వాయిదాకు ఒప్పించారు.
వీటన్నింటి వెనకా ఉన్నది నమ్మకం. పరస్పర నమ్మకం. అదే అతిపెద్ద సామాజిక పెట్టుబడి. నమ్మకం అత్యంత విలువైన కరెన్సీ!
ఈ సామాజిక భద్రత డబ్బుతోనో, హోదాలతోనో, పదవులతోనో పెరగదు. కమ్యూనిటీ కార్యక్రమాల్లో పాల్గొనటం ద్వారా , మన సేవల్ని ఏదో రూపంలో పంచుకోవటం ద్వారా, నమ్మకం నిలబెట్టుకోవటం ద్వారా పెరుగుతాయి. డబ్బుందనో, హోదా ఉందనో, మరొకటనో అందరికీ దూరంగా ఉండకుండా చుట్టూ ఉన్న సమాజపు కార్యక్రమాల్లో భాగం కావాలి. చుట్టు పక్కల వారితో పరిచయాలు పెంచుకోవాలి. అవసరమైనప్పుడు చేతనైనంత సాయం చేయాలి. అందరిలో కనిపించాలి. అందరికీ ఉపయోగపడాలి. మన చుట్టూ ఉన్న సంఘానికి విలువ ఇవ్వాలి. అనుభవాల్ని పంచుకోవాలి. కార్యక్రమాల్లో చురుగ్గా పాల్గొనాలి. మాట నిలబెట్టుకోవాలి. భద్రతను వ్యక్తిగతంగానే కాకుండా సామూహికంగానూ పెంచుకోవటం ఈ కాలపు అవసరం.

హెచ్ఆర్ నుంచి పిలుపు వచ్చిందంటే అంతే సంగతులనే దశలో... రాత్రి 10 గంటలకు మెయిల్ వచ్చింది... రేపు హెచ్ఆర్తో మీటింగ్ అని... హార్ట్బీట్ పెరిగింది. నిద్రపట్టడం లేదు.
ఆ క్షణంలో... మీ భాగస్వామి ‘‘ఉద్యోగం పోయినంత మాత్రాన జీవితం పోయినట్లు కాదు. ఏమైనా ఇద్దరం కలసి చూసుకుందాం.... టెన్షన్ వద్దు!’’
- ఆ ఒక్కమాట... మనసును కుదుట పరిచింది. జీవితాన్ని గెలవగలుగుతాననే ధైర్యాన్నిచ్చింది.

ఆ క్షణంలో ఫ్రెండ్వాళ్ల అన్నయ్య అఖిల్తో మాట్లాడాడు. ‘నాక్కూడా ఇలాగే జరిగింది. కొన్నిసార్లు కష్టపడ్డా ఫలితం రాదు. బహుశా ఇంతకంటే మంచిదేదో నీకోసం వేచి చూస్తోందేమో. అందుకే ఇది రాలేదేమో! ట్రై చేసి చూడు’
ఈ సలహా అఖిల్ దారి మార్చింది. వెయ్యి ఏనుగుల బలాన్ని నింపింది. ఈ మార్పు వెనక మనుషులే ఉన్నారు.
