Future City: Police Commissionerate for Future City

Today, Hyderabad: The process of redistribution of Greater Hyderabad policing has been completed just like the redistribution of GHMC. In addition to the existing three commissionerates, a new future city commissionerate will come. Apart from that, the name of the present Rachakonda Commissionerate will be changed to Malkajigiri Commissionerate. The boundaries of Cyberabad, Hyderabad and Rachakonda Commissionerates are being rearranged. Bhuvangiri will be converted into a separate police district. The exercise related to this was called off on Monday itself.. Orders are to be issued from the government. It is known that the government has merged the entire area under the Outer Ring Road (ORR) with the GHMC in the wake of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's repeated insistence on making Hyderabad a world-class city. According to this, major changes were made in the most important police department. 

Special attention on future city

Currently there are Hyderabad, Rachakonda and Cyberabad commissionerates within the capital city of Hyderabad and the government is paying special attention to the prestigious future city. Presently Future City area comes under Rachakonda. In the coming days, if the development activity in the area picks up, the police surveillance will also have to increase. Moreover, in view of the fact that many industries and commercial organizations are expected to move to this area, their security will become a priority. That is why the government has decided to convert the area into a special commissionerate with the intention of paying special attention to law and order in the Future City area. A new commissionerate will be formed with Ibrahimpatnam, Maheswaram, Chevella, Moinabad, Shankarpally, Amangallu and other areas. At present, the office of Future City Commissionerate will be set up on a temporary basis in the Ranga Reddy District Collector's Office. 

Rachakonda Commissionerate will be changed to Malkajigiri Commissionerate. Secunderabad, Cantonment, Keesara, Sameerpet, Kuthbullapur, Kompally and other areas come under Malkajigiri Commissionerate. Boinapally, Karkhana, Tirumalagiri and other police stations will be involved in this. The range of Hyderabad will be extended to Shamshabad and Rajendranagar. There will be some changes in Cyberabad Commissionerate as well.

In the wake of the decision to reorganize the three Police Commissionerates under the jurisdiction of Greater Hyderabad into four Commissionerates... Avinash Mahanty as Malkajigiri CP, Sudhir Babu as Future City CP, Ramesh Reddy as Cyberabad CP, Yadadri as SP. The government issued an order on Monday night transferring Akshansh Yadav. Ramesh Reddy, who was in a non-focal post so far, has been appointed as the key Cyberabad CP.
