Kottaga Polavaram, Markapuram Districts The state cabinet has given its seal of approval to the arrangement. While continuing the Annamaiya district, the proposal to shift the district headquarters from Rayachoti to Madanapalle has been waved green. YSR has decided to merge Rajampet constituency which is currently in this district into Kadapa district and Railway Kodur into Tirupati district. Rayachoti Constituency is in Annamaiya District. The Cabinet met under the chairmanship of CM Chandrababu on Monday. Along with the formation of 5 new revenue divisions... Adoni Mandal of Kurnool district will be divided into two. The name of Penugonda village of West Godavari district will be changed to Vasavi Penugonda. Three mandals of Gudur constituency were merged into Sripotti Sriramulu district. The constituencies of Sripotti Sriramulu from Nellore district to Kandukur and Bapatla district to Addanki will meet in Prakasam district. The final notification will be issued on 31st of this month regarding the changes and additions in many places including new districts, revenue divisions, mandals. The rule will start from January 1. The total number of districts in the state has increased from the existing 26 to 28.
SPSR Nellore district.. Guduru revenue division with three mandals..
Currently changes and additions have been made in Guduru revenue division of Tirupati district. Gudur revenue division comprising Guduru, Chillakuru and Kota mandals is being merged into Nellore district. In the remaining mandals of this division.. Vakadu and Chittamur will be included in Sullurpet division, Balaypalle, Dakkili and Venkatagiri mandals will be included in Srikalahasti division.
Kaluvai Mandal will continue in Atmakuru Revenue Division, Rapur and Saidapuram Mandals will continue in Nellore Division.
Mandapeta, Rayavaram and Kapileswarapuram Mandals of Ramachandrapuram Revenue Division will be merged into Rajamahendravaram Division of East Godavari District.
1. Polavaram (12 Mandals) with Rampachodavaram (Rampachodavaram Revenue Division 8, Chintur Revenue Division 4 Mandals)

2. Markapuram (21 Mandals)
(Markapuram Revenue Division 15 Mandals, Kanigiri 6 Mandals)

Tirupati Railwaykoduru Constituency is joining Tirupati District under Revenue Division. Koduru, Penagalur, Chitvelu, Pullampeta, Obulavaripalle mandals of that constituency will be merged into Tirupati revenue division.
YSR Kadapa districtRajampet revenue division comprising Nandalur, Rajampet, Veerballi, T. Sundupalli mandals will come into Kadapa district.
In Annamaiya DistrictRaichoti Revenue Division comprising of Rayachoti, Sambepally, Chinnamandyam, Galiveedu, Lakkireddypalle, Ramapuram Mandals is in Annamaya District with Madanapalli as the center.
