ఈనాడు, అమరావతి: గ్రామీణ ప్రజలకు సంక్రాంతి కానుకగా అన్న క్యాంటీన్లు రానున్నాయి. గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాలైన నియోజకవర్గ, మండల కేంద్రాల్లో 70 క్యాంటీన్లు ఒకేసారి ప్రారంభించేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం సన్నాహాలు చేస్తోంది. వివిధ దశల్లో ఉన్న వీటి నిర్మాణాలు జనవరి 10లోగా పూర్తి చేయనున్నారు. జనవరి 13-15 మధ్య క్యాంటీన్లు ప్రారంభించాలని ప్రభుత్వం యోచిస్తోంది. కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పాటయ్యాక పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల్లో 205 అన్న క్యాంటీన్లు ప్రారంభించింది. రోజూ వీటిలో మూడు పూటలా కలిపి 2 లక్షల మందికిపైగా ప్రజలు భోజనం చేస్తున్నారు. ఉదయం, రాత్రి అల్పాహారం, మధ్యాహ్నం భోజనం అందిస్తున్నారు. పూటకు రూ.5కే ఆహారం సరఫరా చేస్తున్నారు. గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల్లోనూ క్యాంటీన్లు ఏర్పాటు చేయాలన్న ఎమ్మెల్యేల విజ్ఞప్తి మేరకు ప్రభుత్వం 70 మంజూరు చేసింది
7.20 కోట్ల మందికి
నగరాలు, పట్టణాల్లో ప్రారంభించిన 205 క్యాంటీన్లలో ఇప్పటి వరకు 7.20 కోట్ల మందికిపైగా పేదలకు ఆహారం అందించారు. వీరిలో అత్యధికంగా 3.16 కోట్ల మంది మధ్యాహ్న భోజనం చేశారు. ఉదయం అల్పాహారం 2.62 కోట్లు, రాత్రిఅల్పాహారం 1.42 కోట్ల మందికి సరఫరా చేశారు. విశాఖపట్నం, ఎన్టీఆర్, గుంటూరు జిల్లాల్లో అత్యధిక సంఖ్యలో పేదలు వస్తున్నారు.

- విద్యకు రూ.34,875 కోట్లు రాష్ట్ర బడ్జెట్లో విద్యకు ప్రభుత్వం అధిక ప్రాధాన్యం ఇచ్చింది. మొత్తం బడ్జెట్లో విద్యకు రూ.34,875 కోట్లు (11శాతం) కేటాయించింది. ఇందులో పాఠశాల విద్యకు రూ.32,308 కోట్లు కేటాయించింది.
