Stock market | ముంబయి: దేశీయ స్టాక్ మార్కెట్ సూచీలు నష్టాల్లో ముగిశాయి. విదేశీ మదుపర్ల అమ్మకాలు కొనసాగడం, గరిష్ఠాల వద్ద లాభాల స్వీకరణ దీనికి కారణం. రిలయన్స్, ఐసీఐసీఐ వంటి ప్రధాన స్టాక్స్లో విక్రయాలు సూచీలపై ఒత్తిడి పెంచాయి. ఆయిల్ అండ్ గ్యాస్, ఫార్మా, ఐటీ షేర్లలో అమ్మకాలు కొనసాగాయి. క్రిస్మస్ సందర్భంగా గురువారం మార్కెట్లకు సెలవు కావడంతో ట్రేడింగ్ యాక్టివిటీ కూడా అంతంతమాత్రంగానే ఉంది.
సెన్సెక్స్ ఉదయం 85,533.11 పాయింట్ల (క్రితం ముగింపు 85,524.84) వద్ద స్వల్ప లాభాల్లో ప్రారంభమైంది. ఆరంభంలో కాసేపు లాభాల్లో కొనసాగినప్పటికీ.. ఆ తర్వాత నష్టాల్లోకి జారుకుంది. ఇంట్రాడేలో 85,342.19 వద్ద కనిష్ఠాన్ని తాకిన సూచీ.. చివరికి 116.14 పాయింట్ల నష్టంతో 85,408.70 వద్ద ముగిసింది. నిఫ్టీ 35.05 పాయింట్ల నష్టంతో 26,142.10 వద్ద స్థిరపడింది. డాలరుతో రూపాయి మారకం విలువ 89.78గా ఉంది.
సెన్సెక్స్ 30 సూచీలో ఇండిగో, సన్ఫార్మా, ఏషియన్ పెయింట్స్, రిలయన్స్ ఇండస్ట్రీస్, హిందుస్థాన్ యూనిలీవర్ షేర్లు ప్రధానంగా నష్టపోయాయి. ట్రెంట్, అల్ట్రాటెక్ సిమెంట్, మారుతీ సుజుకీ, పవర్గ్రిడ్ కార్పొరేషన్, మహీంద్రా అండ్ మహీంద్రా షేర్లు లాభపడ్డాయి. అంతర్జాతీయ విపణిలో బ్రెంట్ క్రూడ్ బ్యారెల్ ధర 62.51 డాలర్ల వద్ద కొనసాగుతుండగా.. బంగారం ఔన్సు 4,494 డాలర్ల వద్ద ట్రేడవుతోంది.

Stock market | Mumbai: Domestic stock market indices ended in losses. This is due to continued selling by foreign investors and profit taking at highs. Selling in major stocks like Reliance and ICICI added pressure on the indices. Oil and gas, pharma and IT shares continued to sell. Trading activity also remained minimal as the markets were off on Thursday on Christmas.
Sensex opened the morning with marginal gains at 85,533.11 points (previous close 85,524.84). Although it continued to be profitable for a while in the beginning, it fell into losses later. The index, which touched an intraday low of 85,342.19, eventually closed at 85,408.70 with a loss of 116.14 points. The Nifty lost 35.05 points to settle at 26,142.10. The rupee was trading at 89.78 against the dollar.
Indigo, Sunpharma, Asian Paints, Reliance Industries and Hindustan Unilever were the major losers in the Sensex 30 index. Shares of Trent, Ultratech Cement, Maruti Suzuki, Powergrid Corporation, Mahindra and Mahindra gained. In the international market, the price of Brent Crude continues at 62.51 dollars per barrel..
