సింహాచలంల గోశాల జంక్షన్ నుంచి అడవివరం జంక్షన్ వరకూ బీఆర్టీఎస్ రహదారి నిర్మాణంలో భూములు కోల్పోయామంటూ అనర్హులు కూడా టీడీఆర్లు పొందిన అంశంపై జీవీఎంసీ కమిషనర్ కేతన్ గార్గ్ స్పందించారు. అర్హత లేనివారు, అసలు ఆ ప్రాంతంలో భూములు లేనివారు, ఆస్తిపన్ను కట్టనివారు కూడా టీడీఆర్లు పొందారని, భారీగా కుంభకోణం జరిగిదంటూ ‘ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి’ మంగళవారం ప్రచురించిన కథనంపై ఆయన స్పందించి, విచారణకు ఆదేశించారు. ఇందుకోసం నాలుగు ప్రత్యేక బృందాలను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. ఒక్కో బృందంలో నలుగురు సిబ్బందిని నియమించారు. ఆయా ప్రాంతాల్లో టీడీఆర్లు పొందినవారు నిజంగా అర్హులా?, కాదా?...అందుబాటులో ఉన్న డాక్యుమెంట్లు, వివరాల ప్రకారం క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో పరిశీలించి నివేదిక ఇవ్వాలని ఆదేశించారు. మొదటి బృందానికి 53, రెండో బృందానికి 52, చివరి రెండు బృందాలకు చెరో 50 చొప్పున టీడీఆర్లు పరిశీలించే బాధ్యతలు అప్పగించారు. వారం రోజుల్లో సర్వే పూర్తి చేసి నివేదిక ఇవ్వాలని ఆదేశించారు. సిటీ ప్లానర్-1, 2లు సర్వేను పర్యవేక్షించి చీఫ్ సిటీ ప్లానర్ ద్వారా నివేదికను అందజేయాలని సూచించారు.
బియ్యం కార్డుదారులకు గోధుమ పిండి

జిల్లాలోని బియ్యం కార్డుదారులకు జనవరి నెల నుంచి బియ్యం, పంచదార, రాగులతో పాటు గోధుమపిండి కూడా పంపిణీ చేయ నున్నట్టు జాయింట్ కలెక్టర్ మయూర్ అశోక్ మంగళవారం ఒక ప్రకటనలో తెలిపారు. కిలో గోధుమపిండి రూ.20కి పంపిణీ చేస్తా మన్నారు. ప్రజలకు పోషకాహారాన్ని అందించా లనే లక్ష్యంతో ప్రభుత్వం ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసు కుందని వెల్లడించారు.
