బోయినపల్లి, డిసెంబరు 24 (ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి): ఆయిల్ పామ్ సాగు అన్ని కాలాలకు అనుకూలంగా ఉంటుందని, నాలుగో ఏడాది నుంచి అధిక దిగుబడి, ఆదాయం వస్తుందని ఇన్చార్జి కలెక్టర్ గరిమ అగ్ర వాల్ తెలిపారు. ఆయిల్పామ్ సాగుపై రైతులకు ఉద్యానవన, వ్యవ సాయ, సహకార శాఖ ఆధ్వర్యంలో బోయినపల్లి ప్రాథమిక వ్యవసా య సహకార సంఘం ఆవరణలో బుధవారం అవగాహన కార్యక్రమా న్ని నిర్వహించగా, ముఖ్యఅతిథిగా ఇన్చార్జి కలెక్టర్ గరిమ అగ్రవాల్ హాజరయ్యారు. ముందుగా ఆ మండలానికి చెందిన రైతులు తాము ఆయిల్పామ్ సాగు చేసిన విధానం, పంట ఉత్పత్తి, ఆదాయం, అంత రపంటల సాగుపై తెలియజేశారు. ఆయిల్పామ్ మొక్కలకు సబ్సిడీ పై ఇచ్చారని, అంతరపంటల సాగు, ఎరువులు, మొక్కల యాజమా న్యానికి ప్రతి ఏడాది డబ్బులు అందించారని వివరించారు. అనంతరం ఇన్చార్జి కలెక్టర్ గరిమ అగ్రవాల్ మాట్లాడారు. దేశం ప్రతి ఏడాది విదేశాల నుంచి నూనె దిగుమతి చేసుకుంటుందని తెలిపారు. ఆ దిగు మతుల భారం తగ్గించేందుకు, ఆయిల్పామ్లో స్వయం సంవృద్ధి సాధించేందుకు ఆయిల్పామ్ సాగును ప్రభుత్వం ప్రోత్సహిస్తోందని తెలిపారు. జిల్లాలో ఆయిల్పామ్ మొక్కల నర్సరీ ఉందని, ప్రభుత్వం ఒక్క మొక్కకు రూ.193 సబ్సిడీ ఇస్తుందని, రైతులు ఒక్కో మొక్కకు కేవలం రూ.20 చెల్లిస్తే సరిపోతుందని స్పష్టం చేశారు. డ్రిప్ ఇరిగేషన్ పరికరాలు సబ్సిడీపై ఇస్తుందని వివరించారు. ఆయిల్పామ్ సాగు చేసేందుకు ఎక్కువ మంది కూలీలు అవసరం లేదని, నిర్వహణ ఖర్చు చాలా తక్కువ అని తెలిపారు. నాలుగో ఏడాది నుంచి దిగుబడి మొద లు అవుతుందని, ప్రస్తుతం ఒక్క టన్నుకు రూ.19వేలు ఉందని, పంట ఉత్పత్తి విక్రయించేందుకు ఎలాంటి ఇబ్బందులు ఉండవని, సిద్ధిపేట జిల్లాలోని నర్మెట్ట వద్ద ఆయిల్పామ్ ఫ్యాక్టరీ ఉందని వెల్లడించారు. మిగతా అన్ని పంటలతో పోలిస్తే దీని సాగుతో ఎన్నో లాబాలు ఉన్నా యన్నారు. అంతర పంటలుగా కూరగాయలు, ఇతర పంటలు సాగు చేసుకోవచ్చని తెలిపారు. సాగు చేసేందుకు ఆసక్తి ఉన్న రైతులను ఆయిల్పామ్ ఫ్యాక్టరీ సందర్శనకు తీసుకువెళ్తామన్నారు. సాగుకు ముందుకు అవగాహన సదస్సు ముగిసిన వెంటనే పలువురు రైతులు ఆయిల్పామ్ సాగు చేసేందుకు ముందుకు వచ్చారు. వారు ఎన్ని ఎక రాల్లో సాగు చేస్తామో వివరాలు నమోదు చేసుకున్నారు. ఈ సంద ర్భంగా ఆ రైతులను ఇన్చార్జి కలెక్టర్ గరిమ అగ్రవాల్ అభినందిం చారు. రైతులు మండలంలో సాగు చేసిన వారి నుంచి స్ఫూర్తి పొంది ముందుకు రావాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు. కార్యక్రమంలో జిల్లా ఉద్యానవన అధికారి శరత్బాబు, జిల్లా సహకార అధికారి రామకృష్ణ, తహసీల్దార్ నారాయణరెడ్డి, సర్పంచ్ నల్ల మోహన్, రైతులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

First, the farmers of that zone informed about the method of oil palm cultivation, crop production, income and cultivation of various crops. It was explained that subsidy was given for oil palm plants, money was given every year for cultivation of inter-crops, fertilizers and plant management. He said that the government is promoting the cultivation of oil palm to reduce the burden of farmers and achieve self-sufficiency in oil palm. He clarified that there is a nursery of oil palm plants in the district and the government will give a subsidy of Rs.193 per plant and it is enough if the farmers pay only Rs.20 per plant. It is explained that drip irrigation equipment will be given on subsidy. He said that the cultivation of oil palm does not require many laborers and the maintenance cost is very low. It has been revealed that the yield will start from the fourth year, currently it is Rs. 19 thousand per tonne, there will be no difficulty in selling the crop, and there is an oil palm factory at Narmetta in Siddipet district. Compared to all other crops, there are many benefits with its cultivation. Vegetables and other crops can be grown as intercrops, he said. Farmers who are interested in cultivation will be taken to visit the oil palm factory. Soon after the awareness conference for cultivation, many farmers came forward to cultivate oil palm.
