ఇలాంటివారంతా ల్యాప్టాప్ ఫార్మ్స్ (కంప్యూటర్లు అమెరికాలో ఉన్నట్లు చూపించినప్పటికీ.. వాటిని ఇతర దేశం నుంచి ఆపరేట్ చేయడం)పై ఆధారపడతారని స్మిత్ తెలిపారు. దీంట్లో ఉద్యోగుల ఫోన్ నంబర్లు, విద్యార్హతలు వంటి వాస్తవ వివరాలు తెలుసుకోవడం కష్టమవుతుందన్నారు. ఈ సమస్య అమెజాన్ ( Amazon) ఒక్కటే ఎదుర్కోవడం లేదని తెలిపారు. ఇలాంటి మోసాలు కేవలం ఉద్యోగాలకే పరిమితం కాదని.. ఆర్థిక దోపిడీ, డేటా ఉల్లంఘనలకూ దారితీయొచ్చని ఆందోళన వ్యక్తంచేశారు.

ప్రముఖ కంపెనీల్లో ఉత్తరకొరియా( North Korea) వాసులు.. అమెరికా వారిలా నటిస్తూ ఉద్యోగాలు చేస్తున్నట్లు గతంలో వార్తలు వచ్చాయి. వీరు దొంగిలించిన లేదా తప్పుడు ఐడీలతో ఈ ఉద్యోగాలు సంపాదించినట్లు గుర్తించారు. ఐరాస అంచనాల ప్రకారం ఉత్తర కొరియా ఐటీ వర్కర్స్ స్కామ్ రూపంలో 2018 నుంచి ఏటా ఆ దేశానికి 250 నుంచి 600 మిలియన్ డాలర్ల వరకు చేరుతున్నట్లు తేలింది. ముఖ్యంగా ఏఐ వినియోగంలోకి వచ్చాక ఉత్తరకొరియా పౌరుల మోసాలు పెరిగిపోయినట్లు పేర్కొంది. ఇటీవల ఆరిజోనాలో ల్యాప్టాప్ ఫార్మ్స్ నిర్వహిస్తూ ఉత్తరకొరియా ఐటీ ఉద్యోగులకు సహకరించిన ఓ మహిళకు 8 ఏళ్ల జైలు శిక్ష పడింది. ఈ వ్యవహారంలో ఆపరేటర్, ఉత్తర కొరియా ప్రభుత్వానికి 17 మిలియన్ డాలర్ల ఆదాయం సమకూరిందని అధికారులు దర్యాప్తులో గుర్తించారు. ఆర్థికంగా బలహీనంగా ఉన్న కిమ్ జోంగ్ ఉన్ ( Kim Jong Un) ప్రభుత్వం నిధుల కోసం తన పౌరులను ఇతర దేశాల్లో ఉద్యోగాల్లోకి చొప్పిస్తుందనే ఆరోపణలు ఉన్నాయి.
