ఈనాడు, హైదరాబాద్: ప్రభుత్వం ఫ్యూచర్సిటీని దేశానికే ఆదర్శంగా తీర్చిదిద్దాలనేది సర్కారు లక్ష్యం. ఫ్యూచర్సిటీ మాస్టర్ ప్లాన్లోనూ కొత్తగా వేసే విద్యుత్తు లైన్లు అన్నీ భూగర్భంలో వేయాలనేది ప్రణాళిక. ఇదివరకే ఉన్న లైన్లను సైతం యూజీలోకి మార్చాలని తొలుత భావించారు. మీర్ఖాన్పేటలో ట్రాన్స్కోకు చెందిన 400/220కేవీ విద్యుత్తు ఉపకేంద్రం ఉంది. గ్రిడ్ నుంచి ఇక్కడికి, ఇక్కడి నుంచి ఇతర ఉపకేంద్రాలకు సైతం ఓవర్ హెడ్లైన్లు ఉన్నాయి. ఇది కాకుండా సమీపంలోనే పవర్ గ్రిడ్ కార్పొరేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియాకు చెందిన 765/400కేవీ భారీ ఉపకేంద్రం కూడా ఉంది. వీటికి సంబంధించిన హైటెన్షన్ తీగలు సైతం ఓవర్హెడ్లోనే ఉన్నాయి. వీటిని భూగర్భంలోకి మార్చాలంటే ఖర్చు తడిసి మోపెడవుతుందని భావించి పాతవాటిని సైతం యూజీలోకి మార్చాలనే విషయంలో వెనక్కి తగ్గారని తెలిసింది.
