న్యూస్టుడే-విజయవాడ క్రీడలు: తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల కళాశాలల క్రీడల్లో సరికొత్త చరిత్ర సృష్టించిన ‘ధనిక్ భారత్ ఎడ్యుకేషనల్ ఇన్స్టిట్యూషన్స్’ ప్రజెంట్స్ ‘ఈనాడు స్పోర్ట్స్ లీగ్’ (ఈఎస్ఎల్)-2025కు రంగం సిద్ధమైంది. క్రికెట్లో ప్రతిభావంతుల్ని వెలుగులోకి తీసుకురావడమే లక్ష్యంగా నిర్వహిస్తున్న ‘ఈఎస్ఎల్’ పండగకు సమయం ఆసన్నమైంది. వర్థమాన క్రికెటర్ల ప్రతిభకు వేదికగా నిలుస్తూ గిన్నిస్ బుక్ ఆఫ్ రికార్డ్స్లో స్థానం దక్కించుకున్న ‘ఈనాడు క్రికెట్’ సోమవారం ప్రారంభం కానుంది. ఉమ్మడి కృష్ణా జిల్లా క్రికెట్ మ్యాచ్లకు కానూరులోని కేసీపీ సిద్ధార్థ ఆదర్శ్ రెసిడెన్షియల్ పబ్లిక్ స్కూల్ క్రికెట్ మైదానం వేదిక కానుంది. జూనియర్ విభాగంలో ఇంటర్, పాలిటెక్నిక్, ఐటీఐ, సీనియర్ కేటగిరీలో డిగ్రీ, ఇంజినీరింగ్, పీజీ, మెడికల్, ఫార్మా కళాశాలల జట్లు క్రికెట్ టోర్నీలో తమ అదృష్టం పరీక్షించుకోనున్నాయి. తొలుత జిల్లా స్థాయిలో మ్యాచ్లు జరుగుతాయి. సోమవారం జిల్లా స్థాయి మ్యాచ్లు ప్రారంభం కానున్నాయి. అనంతరం ప్రాంతీయ స్థాయిలో మ్యాచ్లు నాకౌట్ పద్ధతిలో నిర్వహిస్తారు. రాష్ట్ర స్థాయిలో కూడా పోటీలు జరగనున్నాయి.
