Revanth Reddy: Ready for discussion in the House?

Today, Hyderabad: Two days if necessary on Krishna, Godavari waters. CM Revanth Reddy said that the state government is ready for a discussion in the Legislative Assembly and if KCR as the leader of the opposition agrees to come to the discussions, then the assembly meetings will be arranged from January 2. On Sunday evening, he spoke to media persons in an Ishtagoshthi at his residence. "Even if KCR does not say that he will come to the assembly on January 2... we will discuss and decide the dates in the ministerial meeting for arranging the assembly's winter session in January. If KCR is being asked to come to the assembly and discuss people's problems, he will go to public meetings. We invite KCR to come and discuss in the Legislative Assembly like a responsible opposition leader. It is our responsibility to ensure that there is no violation of his dignity in the House. I would also request the Speaker to take action against anyone who has violated his dignity. Let's have a face-to-face discussion of who did what on water-truths. Whatever suggestion KCR makes with his experience that will be useful for the state, the government will approve it. KCR is not ready to negotiate with those who care about him. Bharata should decide whether KCR, who did not come to the assembly, should be the leader of the opposition or not. KCR got excited when Modi asked the Indian MPs about his health. After seeing the results of Lok Sabha elections, Cantonment, Jubilee Hills by-elections and Panchayat elections, the status of Leader of Opposition came to mind. 

Going to Delhi to do things with the Centre...

Going to Delhi to do things with the Central Government. It was because of talking to the Center that KCR was allowed to settle the debts of Rs. Recently, I requested the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to allow me to get low interest loans to pay off another Rs.85 thousand crores of high interest debt. We think that if the loans are brought at low interest rates and those brought at high interest rates are paid off, the financial burden will be reduced by Rs. 4 thousand crores annually. KCR has incurred debts of Rs.8.11 lakh crore. They brought loans at 12% interest and destroyed the economy of Telangana. 

Son and son-in-law are fighting...

KCR is in danger from his own family. Son KCR is fighting for the chair and son-in-law for property. KCR came out of the farmhouse fearing that the party would fall into the hands of his son-in-law. As long as KCR is there, Harish Rao will not fight anywhere. He kept an eye on the party as well as the party's assets. But, KCR wants to put India in the hands of KTR. If I honored crores of women by giving sari and saree, KCR's family kicked Kavitha out of the party. 

Injustice to Telangana under KCR's rule

Mahbubnagar district has given KCR political alms. The foundation stone of the Telangana movement was laid for the share of Krishna waters. KCR has done more injustice to Telangana during his rule than in the union state. It was during his tenure that AP water robbery took place. He signed 299 TMCs as Telangana's share in Krishna waters... He wrote the death warrant for the joint districts of Palamuru, Nalgonda and Khammam. Permanent rights were written to AP on Krishna waters. People should apologize for that. An injustice has been done with the plan to take water to Palamuru-Ranga Reddy from Srisailam which is much lower than from Jurala where Krishna river enters Telangana. Even though AP built projects like Pothireddypadu and Muchumarri, they ignored it. There is a video of KCR speaking in the assembly, advising Chandrababu to move Godavari waters to Ichhapuram, Naidupet and Rayalaseema... congratulating him for building Pattiseema. We will display it in front of the people in every town where Bharasa Sabhas are held. 

High water consumption if the projects are completed

Rs.2 lakh crores were spent on irrigation projects during the Indian regime, out of which bills of Rs.1.80 lakh crores were paid. However, none of the SLBC, Dindi, Kalvakurti, Nettempadu, Bhima, Palamuru-Ranga Reddy projects have been completed by the Indian government in ten years. Had they been completed, Telangana would have got the opportunity to use more water in the Krishna waters. When the Congress government came, we spent Rs. 6,800 crores on projects in Palamuru district. 

Sold to contracts and commissions

The Center sent back the Palamuru-Rangareddy DPR due to improper drafting by the Government of India. Beeram Harshavardhan Reddy, who filed cases in NGT to stop the construction of this project, was given ticket by KCR Kolhapur in the assembly elections. KCR signed and sold 64% share to AP and 36% share to Telangana in Krishna waters...contracts and commissions. After we came to power we have been fighting for 71% share of river waters as per Krishna river basin calculations. KCR did not even ask for 50%. Panchayat elections were held in all 94 assembly constituencies and Congress supporters won in 87 places. Let's make a fact-finding committee and go to any village and check. Let's find out which party's supporters won as serpents. Revanth Reddy stated that KCR cannot afford to introduce an app for urea and use advanced technology.
