కథేంటంటే..
డాక్టర్ నయన్ (వరుణ్ సందేశ్) కంటి వైద్యుడు. చిన్నప్పటినుంచి ఇతరుల వ్యక్తిగత విషయాలను తెలుసుకోవడమంటే ఆయనకెంతో ఆసక్తి. ‘సర్వేంద్రియానాం నయనం ప్రధానం’ అన్న టీచర్ మాటలతో కంటి వైద్యుడు అవుతాడు. న్యూటన్ గురుత్వాకర్షణ కనిపెట్టినట్లు కంటి సాయంతో ఇతరుల ఇంట్లో ఏం జరుగుతుందో తెలుసుకునేలా ఒక ప్రయోగం చేస్తాడు. తన దగ్గరకు వచ్చిన పేషెంట్ల కంటిలోకి ఒక రకమైన ఇంజెక్షన్ ఇవ్వడం ద్వారా 12 గంటల సమయంలో నాలుగు నిమిషాల పాటు వారు ఏం చేసినా ఒక ప్రత్యేక కళ్లజోడు ద్వారా చూడగలడు. అలా తన (Varun Sandesh) దగ్గర చికిత్స తీసుకున్న మాధవి (ప్రియాంక జైన్) తన భర్త గౌరీ శంకర్(ఉత్తేజ్)ను హత్య చేయడం చూస్తాడు. దీంతో ఒక్కసారిగా ఉలిక్కిపడతాడు. మరి మాధవి తన భర్తను ఎందుకు హత్య చేసింది? ఈ విషయం నయన్ పోలీసులకు చెప్పాడా? సీఐ (అలీ రజా) ఈ కేసును పరిష్కరించాడా? అన్నది తెలియాలంటే సిరీస్ చూడాల్సిందే (Nayanam Review ).
ఎలా ఉందంటే..
యువ దర్శకులు సరికొత్త కాన్సెప్ట్తో సినిమాలను, సిరీస్లను రూపొందిస్తూ నేటితరం ప్రేక్షకులను ఆశ్చర్యపరుస్తున్నారు. ముఖ్యంగా మర్డర్ మిస్టరీలను ఆద్యంతం అలరించేలా తీర్చిదిద్దుతున్నారు. నయనం కూడా ఈ కోవకు చెందిందే అయినా దర్శకురాలు స్వాతి సరికొత్త నేపథ్యాన్ని ఎంచుకొని సిరీస్ను మరింత ఆసక్తికరంగా తీర్చిదిద్దారు. మర్డర్ మిస్టరీకి సైన్స్ ఫిక్షన్ జోడించి తీర్చిదిద్దిన విధానం బాగుంది. ఆరంభ ఎపిసోడ్లోనే నయన్ పాత్ర, అతని వ్యక్తిత్వం, ఇతరుల వ్యక్తిగత విషయాలు తెలుసుకోవడానికి అతడు ప్రత్యేకంగా కళ్లజోడు కనిపెట్టడం తదితర సన్నివేశాలతో కథా ప్రపంచాన్ని పరిచయం చేసిన తీరు మెప్పిస్తుంది (Nayanam Review). ఆ తర్వాత కూడా కథలో ఇతర పాత్రల నేపథ్యాన్ని వివరంగా చెప్పే ప్రయత్నం చేశారు. దీంతో అక్కడక్కడ ఫ్లాట్గా సాగిన అనుభూతి కలుగుతుంది.
ఎప్పుడైతే గౌరీ శంకర్ను మాధవి హత్య చేయడం నయన్ స్పెషల్ కళ్లజోడు ద్వారా చూస్తాడో.. అప్పుడే కథ కీలక మలుపు తిరుగుతుంది. అక్కడి నుంచి కథా కథనాలు చివరివరకు ఆద్యంతం ఉత్కంఠగా సాగుతాయి. ఒకవైపు పోలీస్ ఇన్వెస్టిగేషన్.. మరోవైపు హత్య వెనక కారణాన్ని తెలుసుకునేందుకు నయన్ చేసే ప్రయత్నాలు.. ‘ఈ విషయంలో కలుగజేసుకోవద్దు’ అంటూ గుర్తుతెలియని వ్యక్తి అతడిని హెచ్చరించడం వంటి సన్నివేశాలతో సిరీస్ నడిపించిన విధానం అలరిస్తుంది. చివరి ఎపిసోడ్లో ట్విస్ట్ రివీల్ అయిన గౌరీశంకర్ను మాధవి ఎందుకు హత్య చేసిందో కారణం చెప్పకుండా ముగించి సీజన్ 2కు బాటలు వేయడం కాస్త నిరాశ పరుస్తుంది.

డాక్టర్ నయన్ పాత్రలో వరుణ్ సందేశ్ చక్కగా నటించాడు. ఇతరుల వ్యక్తిగత విషయాలను తెలుసుకోవాలన్న యువకుడిగా అతని నటన బాగుంది. ప్రియాంక జైన్ పాత్ర కథలో ట్విస్ట్ ఇస్తుంది. అలీ రజా అలవాటైన పోలీస్ పాత్రలో చేసుకుంటూ వెళ్లిపోయారు. మిగిలినవాళ్లు తమ పరిధి మేరకు నటించారు. సాంకేతికంగా కూడా సిరీస్ బాగుంది. ఒక్కో ఎపిసోడ్ నిడివి కూడా తక్కువే. అరగంటకు కాస్త అటుఇటుగా కట్ చేసిన విధానం బాగుంది. దర్శకురాలు స్వాతి సరికొత్త నేపథ్యాన్ని ఎంచుకొని అంతే ఆసక్తిగా ఈ మర్డర్ మిస్టరీ థ్రిల్లర్ను తీర్చిదిద్దారు. సీజన్ 2 కోసం మరిన్ని ఆసక్తికర విషయాలు దాచిపెట్టారు.

Varun Sandesh made a special name for himself by acting in love story films. In recent times they are trying to entertain with different stories. His latest web series 'Nayanam' is a part of this. And how is this series? What a thrill.
The story is..
Dr. Nayan (Varun Sandesh) is an eye doctor. He is very interested in knowing other people's personal things since childhood. He becomes an eye doctor with the words of the teacher, 'Sarvendriyanam Nayanam Pradhanam'. Just as Newton discovered gravity, he does an experiment to see what is going on in other people's homes with the help of his eyes. By injecting a type of injection into the eyes of his patients, he was able to see through a special pair of glasses whatever they were doing for four minutes out of 12 hours. So Madhavi (Priyanka Jain) who gets treatment from him (Varun Sandesh) sees her husband Gauri Shankar (Uttej) murdered. He is suddenly shocked by this. Why did Madhavi kill her husband? How is it..
Young directors are making movies and series with a new concept and surprising the audience today. Especially the murder mysteries are being made entertaining. Although Nayanam also belongs to this category, director Swathi has chosen a new background and made the series more interesting. The way science fiction is added to the murder mystery is good. Nayanam's character, his personality, the way he invents special glasses to know other people's personal things and so on, introduces the world of the story (Nayanam Review) in the very first episode. Even after that they tried to tell the background of other characters in detail in the story. This gives a flat feeling here and there.
Whenever Nayan sees Madhavi killing Gauri Shankar through special glasses.. then the story takes a crucial turn. From there, the story continues in suspense till the end. On the one hand, the police investigation. On the other hand, Nayan's efforts to find out the reason behind the murder. The twist revealed in the last episode is a bit disappointing as it ends without explaining why Madhavi killed Gauri Shankar and paves the way for season 2.
Who did it..
Varun Sandesh played the role of Dr. Nayan well. His performance as a young man who wants to know other people's personal matters is good. Priyanka Jain's character gives a twist to the story. Ali Raza left in his usual police role. The rest acted according to their scope. Technically the series is also good. The length of each episode is also short. The way it is cut a bit here and there for half an hour is good. Director Swathi has chosen a new background and has fashioned this murder mystery thriller with equal interest. More interesting things are hidden for Season 2.
Watch it with the family? : There is no profanity in this series. Can be watched with family without objection.
