చిలకలూరిపేట: పల్నాడు జిల్లా చిలకలూరిపేటలో ప్రమాదానికి కారణమైన ఏఎస్సై కుమారుడు వెంకటనాయుడి కేసులో కీలక పరిణామం చోటు చేసుకుంది. వెంకటనాయుడు ముఠా చోరీ చేసిన కార్లను నరసరావుపేట పోలీసులు స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు. 8 కార్లను పీఎస్కు తరలించారు. గతంలోనూ 10 కార్లను స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు. మొత్తం 22 కార్లను ఈ ముఠా చోరీ చేసినట్లు పోలీసులు గుర్తించారు. మిగిలిన కార్లు కూడా స్వాధీనం చేసుకునేందుకు చర్యలు చేపట్టారు. ప్రస్తుతం ఈ ముఠా చిలకలూరిపేట పోలీసుల కస్టడీలో ఉంది. ఇప్పటికే వెంకటనాయుడు తండ్రి ఏఎస్సై శ్రీనివాసరావును ఎస్పీ సస్పెండ్ చేశారు.
అసలేం జరిగిందంటే..?
ఈ నెల 4న నాదెండ్ల మండలం గణపవరం సమీపంలోని చిలకలూరిపేట బైపాస్ వద్ద జరిగిన ప్రమాదంలో అయిదుగురు ఇంజినీరింగ్ విద్యార్థులు మృతిచెందిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. వెంకటనాయుడి బృందం ఓ భారీ లారీని ఆపి అక్రమంగా డబ్బులు వసూలు చేసే ప్రయత్నంలో ప్రమాదం జరిగినట్లు సీసీ ఫుటేజీ ద్వారా చిలకలూరిపేట గ్రామీణ పోలీసులు గుర్తించారు. అనంతరం నిందితుల్ని సీసీ కెమెరాల్లో గుర్తించి అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్నాక డీఎస్పీ కార్యాలయంలో పనిచేసే ఏఎస్సై శ్రీనివాసరావు కుమారుడి లీలలు వెలుగులోకి వచ్చాయి. 2023లో ఏఎస్సై కుమారుడు కోటప్పకొండ వద్ద రూ.2వేల నోట్ల మార్పిడికి రూ.10 లక్షల కమీషన్ ఎరవేసి.. కారుతో పాటు రూ.50 లక్షలు దోచుకున్నట్లు కేసు నమోదైంది. ఆ కేసులో తండ్రి పాత్రపై ఎప్పటినుంచో విచారణ ఫైలు ఎస్పీ కార్యాలయంలో పెండింగులో ఉంది.
ఏఎస్సై 15 ఏళ్లుగా నరసరావుపేటలోనే పనిచేస్తున్నారు. తండ్రి అధికారాన్ని అడ్డుపెట్టుకుని కుమారుడు వెంకటనాయుడు దందాలు చేసినట్లు, ఫైనాన్స్ కార్లను తీసుకొచ్చి ఫేక్ నంబర్లతో ఇతరులకు తక్కువ ధరకే అమ్మడం, గంజాయి క్రయవిక్రయాలు చేసినట్లు ఆరోపణలున్నాయి. వీటన్నింటి విషయంలో కుమారుడిని ఎప్పటికప్పుడు రక్షిస్తూ.. అరాచకాలకు అండగా నిలిచినట్లు తేలడంతో ఏఎస్సైని మొదట వెల్దుర్తి ఠాణాకు బదిలీ చేశారు. ఇటీవల సస్పెండ్ చేశారు. Chilakaluripet: A crucial development has taken place in the case of ASI's son Venkatanaidu who caused an accident in Chilakaluripet of Palnadu district. The Narasa Raopet police seized the cars stolen by Venkatanaidu's gang. 8 cars were moved to PS. Earlier also 10 cars were impounded. The police found that the gang had stolen a total of 22 cars. Steps were taken to seize the rest of the cars as well. The gang is currently in the custody of the Chilakaluripet police. Venkatanaidu's father ASI Srinivasa Rao has already been suspended by the SP.
What actually happened..?
It is known that five engineering students died in an accident at Chilakaluripet bypass near Ganapavaram in Nadendla mandal on 4th of this month. The Chilakaluripet rural police found that the accident occurred when Venkatanaidu's team stopped a heavy lorry and tried to collect money illegally. Later, after the accused were identified on the CCTV cameras and taken into custody, the activities of the son of ASI Srinivasa Rao, who works in the DSP's office, came to light. In 2023, a case was registered that ASI's son had stolen Rs.10 lakh commission for exchanging Rs.2000 notes at Kotappakonda and robbed Rs.50 lakhs along with a car. The investigation file on the father's role in that case is still pending in the SP's office.
ASI has been working in Narasa Raopet for 15 years. It is alleged that the son Venkatanaidu had committed robberies by obstructing the father's authority, brought finance cars and sold them to others at a low price with fake numbers, and was involved in the sale of ganja.
