శోభన్బాబు కథానాయకుడిగా నటించిన ‘సోగ్గాడు’ విడుదలై యాభయ్యేళ్లు పూర్తయిన సందర్భంగా ఆ చిత్రాన్ని నిర్మించిన సురేశ్ ప్రొడక్షన్స్, అఖిల భారత శోభన్బాబు సేవా సమితి కలిసి శుక్రవారం రాత్రి హైదరాబాద్లో స్వర్ణోత్సవాన్ని నిర్వహించాయి. శోభన్బాబుతో కలిసి నటించిన కథానాయికలతోపాటు, ఆయనతో సినిమాలు చేసిన నిర్మాతలు, దర్శకులు, రచయితలు, గాయనీ గాయకులు ఈ వేడుకలో పాల్గొన్నారు. సీనియర్ గాయని పి.సుశీలను ఈ వేదికపై సన్మానించారు. అనంతరం ఆమె మాట్లాడుతూ ‘‘శోభన్బాబు సినిమాల్లో పాడిన ప్రతి పాట నా మదిలో మెదులుతూనే ఉంది. అప్పట్లో ‘సోగ్గాడు’ సినిమాతో నాకు మంచి పేరు వచ్చింది. ఆ సినిమా స్వర్ణోత్సవంలో పాల్గొనడం ఆనందంగా ఉంది. ఇలాంటి గొప్ప కార్యక్రమాలన్నీ చూసి ఆ జ్ఞాపకాల్ని పోగేసుకోవాలని ఉంది’’ అన్నారు.
