రాష్ట్రం, ప్రదేశాలు, పరిస్థితులను బట్టి కొన్ని వస్తువుల ధరల్లో హెచ్చుతగ్గులుంటాయి. వంటగ్యాస్ ఇదే కోవలోకి వస్తుంది. నిత్యావసరమైన గ్యాస్ ధరలు మన ప్రాంతంతో పోలిస్తే మహారాష్ట్రలో తక్కువగా ఉన్నాయి. దీన్ని ఆసరాగా చేసుకొని కొందరు దళారులు గుట్టుగా గ్యాస్ సిలిండర్లను సరిహద్దు దాటిస్తున్నారు.

జిల్లాకు చెందిన కొందరు దళార్లు పొరుగు రాష్ట్రంలోని నాందేడ్, ధర్మాబాద్ ప్రాంతాల గ్యాస్ డీలర్ల సహకారంతో ఈ తంతు కొనసాగిస్తున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. మన ప్రాంతంలోని ఖాళీ సిలిండర్లను అక్కడకు తీసుకెళ్లి వారివద్ద సిలిండర్లు తీసుకుంటున్నారు. మన ప్రాంతంతో పోలిస్తే అక్కడ గృహావసరాలకు వినియోగించే సిలిండర్ ధర రూ.51 వరకు తక్కువ కాగా, వాణిజ్య సిలిండర్ ధర రూ.170 వరకు తక్కువగా లభ్యమవుతోంది. అక్కడ పెద్దమొత్తంలో సిలిండర్లను కొనుగోలు చేస్తూ స్థానికంగా ఎక్కువ ధరతో విక్రయిస్తున్నారు.
- తానూరు, కుభీరు, కుంటాల, సారంగాపూర్ మండలాల పరిధిలో మహారాష్ట్ర సరిహద్దు ప్రాంతాలున్నాయి. వీటిలో ప్రధాన రహదారులే కాకుండా అంతర్గతంగా ఉండే అనువైన ప్రాంతాల నుంచి సిలిండర్లను తరలిస్తున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది.
- ఎక్కువ వ్యాపారం జరిగే హోటళ్లను సైతం తమ విక్రయకేంద్రాలుగా మార్చుకుంటున్నారు.
వాహనాల్లోనూ..
గ్యాస్ సిలిండర్లతో నడిచే వాహనాల వినియోగమూ ఎక్కువగానే ఉంది. ఎల్పీజీ ఫిల్లింగ్ కేంద్రాలతో పోలిస్తే నేరుగా సిలిండర్ నుంచి గ్యాస్ నింపుకోవడం ఖర్చు తక్కువవుతుంది. అద్దెకార్లు తిప్పేవారు ఎక్కువగా ఇలా రాయితీపై వచ్చే సిలిండర్లను తమ అవసరాలకు వాడుతున్నారు.
ప్రధానంగా 14.2 కిలోలు, 19 కిలోల సిలిండర్లను ఎక్కువగా వినియోగిస్తున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. సగటున రోజుకు 80 వరకు గృహావసర సిలిండర్లు, 40 వరకు వాణిజ్య సిలిండర్లు తరలిస్తున్నట్లు సమాచారం. ఈ లెక్కన రోజుకు రూ. 10,800, నెలకు రూ. 3.24 లక్షలు చొప్పున వారికి గిట్టుబాటవుతోంది. ఇందులో రవాణా, ఇతరత్రా ఖర్చులు పోయినా రూ. 2 లక్షలకు పైగానే వెనకేసుకుంటున్నట్లు స్పష్టమవుతోంది.
సరిహద్దు ప్రాంతాల్లో గతంలో ఉన్న తనిఖీ కేంద్రాల ఎత్తివేత కూడా వీరికి కలిసొచ్చినట్లయ్యింది. అడిగేవారు, ఆపేవారు లేకపోవడంతో చాలా సులభంగా సరిహద్దు దాటిస్తున్నారు. పరిశీలించి చూస్తే తప్ప వేబిల్లు, పన్ను చెల్లింపుల వ్యవహారం గుర్తించడం కష్టం.
