లాటరీ సంస్థ విరాళం.. ఆ రెండు పార్టీలకే రూ.260 కోట్లు!

ఇంటర్నెట్‌ డెస్క్‌: తమిళనాడులో రాజకీయ పార్టీల విరాళాలకు (Political funding) సంబంధించి కీలక విషయం వెలుగులోకి వచ్చింది. కలకత్తా కేంద్రంగా నడిచే ఓ లాటరీ సంస్థ.. రాష్ట్రంలో ప్రధాన పార్టీలైన డీఎంకే, అన్నాడీఎంకేలకు రూ.260 కోట్లు విరాళంగా ఇచ్చినట్లు సమాచారం. ఈ ఏడాది (2025-26)లోనే రెండు పార్టీలకు ఈ మొత్తాన్ని ఇచ్చిన విషయం ఎన్నికల సంఘానికి ( Election Commission) అందజేసిన వివరాల ద్వారా వెల్లడైంది. అంతకుముందు ఏడాదిలో అన్ని రాజకీయ పార్టీలకు ఇచ్చిన విరాళాల కన్నా ఈ రెండు పార్టీలకే సదరు లాటరీ సంస్థ రెట్టింపు మొత్తాన్ని ఇవ్వడం గమనార్హం.
దేశంలో లాటరీ కింగ్‌గా పేరుగాంచిన శాంటియాగో మార్టిన్‌ నేతృత్వంలో నడిచే టైగర్‌ అసోసియేట్స్‌ (Tiger Associates) అనే లాటరీ సంస్థ.. డీఎంకే, అన్నాడీఎంకేలకు కొన్నేళ్లుగా భారీగా విరాళాలు ఇస్తోంది. 2024-25లో ఈ రెండు పార్టీలకు కలిపి రూ.110 కోట్లు ఇచ్చింది. ఈ ఏడాది రెట్టింపు చేసిన ఈ కంపెనీ.. అన్నాడీఎంకేకు రూ.135 కోట్లు, డీఎంకేకు రూ.125 కోట్లు ఇచ్చింది. ఈసారి అన్నాడీఎంకేకు వచ్చిన మొత్తం విరాళాల్లో ఈ సంస్థ నుంచే 81శాతం రాగా.. డీఎంకేకు వచ్చిన విరాళాల్లో 65శాతం దీని నుంచే ఉన్నట్లు వెల్లడైంది.

శాంటియాగో మార్టిన్‌కు తమిళనాడులో ప్రధాన రాజకీయ పార్టీలతో సత్సంబంధాలున్నాయి. ఆయన కుటుంబంలోని ముగ్గురు సభ్యులు మూడు వేర్వేరు పార్టీల్లో ఉన్నారు. ఆయన సతీమణి లీమారోస్‌ అన్నాడీఎంకేలో ఉండగా, అల్లుడు అధవ్‌ అర్జున టీవీకే ప్రభుత్వంలో మంత్రిగా కొనసాగుతున్నారు. మార్టిన్‌ కుమారుడు జోస్‌ చార్లెస్‌ పుదుచ్చేరిలో గత ఎన్నికల సమయంలో ఓ రాజకీయ పార్టీని స్థాపించి, ఆ పార్టీ తరఫున గెలిచి అసెంబ్లీలో అడుగు పెట్టిన విషయం తెలిసిందే.
