భారత టెన్నిస్‌ దిగ్గజం సానియా మీర్జాగురించి ప్రత్యేక పరిచయం అక్కర్లేదు. డబుల్స్‌లో వరల్డ్‌ నంబర్‌ వన్‌గా ఎదగడంతో పాటు.. ఆరుసార్లు గ్రాండ్‌ స్లామ్‌ చాంపియన్‌గా నిలిచిన ఘనత ఆమెకు ఉంది. ఈ హైదరాబాదీ నాలుగుసార్లు ఒలింపిక్స్‌లోనూ భారత్‌కు ప్రాతినిథ్యం వహించింది.
తన పదేళ్ల కెరీర్‌ (2003-2023)లో మొత్తంగా 43 డబ్ల్యూటీఏ డబుల్స్‌ టైటిళ్లు, ఒక సింగిల్‌ టైటిల్‌ గెలిచిన సానియా.. రియో ఒలింపిక్స్‌ 2016లో సెమీ ఫైనల్‌కు కూడా చేరింది. తద్వారా భారత్‌లో అత్యంత విజయవంతమైన మహిళా టెన్నిస్‌ ప్లేయర్‌గా ఆమె పేరుగాంచింది.

ఈ నేపథ్యంలో తాజాగా.. బాలీవుడ్‌ జంట నేహా దుఫియా- అంగద్‌ బేడీ చాట్‌ షోలో పాల్గొన్న సానియా మీర్జా.. ఫరాతో తన స్నేహం గురించి గుర్తు చేసుకుంది. తనకే కాకుండా తన కుమారుడు ఇజహాన్‌ ( Izhaan Mirza Malik )కు కూడా ఫరా మంచి స్నేహితురాలు అని హర్షం వ్యక్తం చేసింది. అంతేకాదు.. ఇజహాన్‌ పుట్టినపుడే వాడిని సినిమా హీరో చేస్తానని ఫరా తనకు మాటిచ్చిందని సరదాగా పేర్కొంది.

ఈ మేరకు.. ‘‘ఇజహాన్‌ నెలల పిల్లవాడిగా ఉన్నపుడే ఫరా నాకు మాట ఇచ్చింది. వీడు పెరిగి పెద్దైన తర్వాత.. వీడితో సినిమా చేస్తానని చెప్పింది. అంతేకాదు.. అందుకోసం ఇప్పుడే ఒప్పందం చేసుకుంటున్నానని.. రూ. 100 నోటు నా చేతిలో పెట్టింది. ఇప్పటికీ ఆ నోటు నా దగ్గరే ఉంది’’ అని సానియా మీర్జా తమ మధ్య జరిగిన సరదా సంభాషణను వివరించింది.
కాగా సానియా మీర్జా- షోయబ్‌ మాలిక్‌లకు 2018లో కుమారుడు ఇజహాన్‌ జన్మించాడు. అయితే, షోయబ్‌తో విడిపోయిన తర్వాత కుమారుడి బాధ్యతను సానియా తీసుకుంది.
