అనంతపురం: రాష్ట్రంలోని పలు చోట్ల వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ అభ్యర్థులపై కూటమి నేతలు బెదిరింపులకు పాల్పడుతున్న ఘటనలు వరుసగా వెలుగు చూస్తున్నాయి. స్థానిక ఎన్నికల్లో పోటీకి దిగితే ఓడిపోవడం ఖాయమనే భావనలో ఉన్న కూటమి నేతలు.. పోటీ లేకుండా చూసుకునేందుకు కుటిల యత్నాలు చేస్తున్నారు. దీనిలో భాగంగా వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ అభ్యర్థులకు బెదిరింపు కాల్స్ చేస్తున్నారు.
తాడిపత్రిలో టీడీపీ నేత జేసీ ప్రభాకర్‌రెడ్డి బరితెగించారు. వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ అభ్యర్థులు ఎవరూ పోటీ చేయవద్దంటూ బెదిరింపు యత్నాలు చేస్తున్నారు. ఈ మేరకు వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ కౌన్సిలర్ అభ్యర్థి వేణుగోపాల్ ఇంటి వద్ద జేసీ వర్గీయుల దాష్టీకానికి పాల్పడ్డారు. పలువురు జేసీ వర్గీయులు తాడిపత్రి శాస్త్రి నగర్‌లో వేణుగోపాల్ ఇంటికి వెళ్లి మున్సిపల్ ఎన్నికల్లో పోటీ చేస్తే చంపుతామని బెదిరింపులకు పాల్పడ్డారు. పోటీ చేస్తే పరిణామాలు తీవ్రంగా ఉంటాయంటూ హెచ్చరించారు. కూటమి నేతల అరాచకంపై పోలీసుల మాత్రం ప్రేక్షక పాత్ర పోషిస్తున్నారు. దీనికి సంబంధించి జేసీ వర్గీయుల గూండాగిరి సోషల్‌ మీడియాలో వైరల్‌గా మారింది.
రాయచోటిలో మంత్రి బెదిరింపు కాల్స్
రాయచోటిలో సైతం వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ అభ్యర్థులకు బెదిరింపులు వచ్చాయి. ఏకంగా మంత్రి రాంప్రసాద్‌రెడ్డి.. వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ అభ్యర్థులకు ఫోన్‌ చేసి బెదిరింపులకు దిగారు. ఎన్నికల్లో పోటీ చేసి ఇబ్బంది పడవద్దంటూ గౌస్ అనే మైనారిటీ నాయకుడికి బెదిరించారు. ‘రిక్వెస్ట్ అనుకుంటారో, ఇంకేమనుకుంటారో అనుకోండి.. ఇబ్బందుల్లో పడొద్దు’ అంటూ బెదిరించారు. ఈ ఎన్నిక తనకు ప్రతిష్టాత్మకమని, మీరెవరు పోటీ చేయవద్దంటూ బెదిరింపు కాల్స్ చేస్తున్నారు. రాయచోటలో అన్ని వార్డుల్లో వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ ఆశావహలకు ఈ తరహా ఫోన్‌ కాల్స్ వస్తున్నాయి. ఇంకా రెండున్నేళ్లు తమ ప్రభుత్వమే ఉంటుందంటూ వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ అభ్యర్థులను బెదిరింపులకు గురి చేస్తున్నారు.

A minority leader named Gaus was threatened not to contest the elections. They threatened to say, 'Whatever you think of a request...don't get into trouble'. He is making threatening calls saying that this election is prestigious for him and none of you should contest. YSRCP hopefuls are receiving these types of phone calls in all the wards in Rayachota. YSRCP candidates are being threatened that their government will be there for two more years.
