‘మీనాక్షి ఎలీసియా’కు అనుమతిపై హైకోర్టు ఆశ్చర్యం
సాక్షి, హైదరాబాద్‌:నగరం నడిబొడ్డున 35 అంతస్తుల భారీ భవన నిర్మాణానికి అనుమతులు ఇవ్వడంపై తెలంగాణ హైకోర్టు ఆశ్చర్యం వ్యక్తం చేసింది. చారిత్రక మొజంజాహీ మార్కెట్‌కు సమీపంలోని అబిడ్స్‌ గన్‌ఫౌండ్రిలో చేపట్టిన ‘మీనాక్షి ఎలీసియా’కు అనుమతుల మంజూరు ప్రక్రియను నిశితంగా పరిశీలించాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని అభిప్రాయపడింది. దీనిపై సమగ్ర వివరాలతో కౌంటర్‌ దాఖలు చేయా లని ప్రతివాదులైన అధికారులతో పాటు మీనాక్షి సంస్థను ఆదేశించింది. తదుపరి విచారణను రెండు వారాలకు వాయిదా వేసింది.
నగరం నడిబొడ్డున భారీ నిర్మాణానికి అనుమతులు ఇవ్వడాన్ని సవాల్‌ చేస్తూ సొసైటీ ఫర్‌ క్రూసేడ్‌ ఎగైనెస్ట్‌ కరప్షన్‌ పిటిషన్‌ దాఖలు చేసింది. ఈ పిటిషన్‌పై జస్టిస్‌ బి.విజయసేన్‌రెడ్డి ధర్మాసనం విచారణ చేపట్టింది. చట్టప్రకారం అనుసరించాల్సిన విధివిధానాలను పాటించకుండా, భద్రతా ప్రమాణాలను సమగ్రంగా పరిశీలించకుండానే జీహెచ్‌ఎంసీ అనుమతులు మంజూరు చేసిందని పిటిషనర్‌ తరఫు న్యాయవాది వాదించారు. వాదనలు విన్న న్యాయమూర్తి.. కౌంటర్‌ దాఖలు చేయా లని ప్రతివాదులను ఆదేశిస్తూ, విచారణ వాయిదా వేశారు.

Sakshi, Hyderabad:The Telangana High Court has expressed surprise over giving permission for the construction of a huge 35-storey building in the heart of the city. It opined that the approval process for the 'Meenakshi Elysia' undertaken at Abid's Gunfoundry near the historic Mozanjahi market needs to be scrutinized. Meenakshi ordered the company along with the respondent officials to file a counter with detailed details. The further hearing was adjourned for two weeks.
Society for Crusade Against Corruption filed a petition challenging the granting of permits for massive construction in the heart of the city. Justice B. Vijaysen Reddy's bench took up the investigation on this petition. The counsel for the petitioner argued that the GHMC granted permissions without following the procedures required by law and without thoroughly examining the safety standards. After hearing the arguments, the judge ordered the defendants to file a counter and adjourned the hearing.
