ఈనాడు డిజిటల్, హైదరాబాద్‌: అమెరికాలోని ఆప్తులకు అనారోగ్యం వల్లనో, మరో కారణంగానో అత్యవసర పరిస్థితి ఏర్పడుతుంది. తోడుగా ఎవరూ ఉండరు.. దీంతో ఇక్కడ ఉన్న వారు భయపడతారు.. ఎవరికి చెప్పాలో అర్థమవ్వక సతమతమవుతారు.. ఇలాంటి పరిస్థితుల్లోని వారికి సాయం అందించేందుకు ముందడుగు వేశారు అమెరికాలోని మోహన్‌ నన్నపనేని. వేల మైళ్ల దూరంలో ఉన్న తమవారికి ఏం జరిగిందో తెలియక ఆందోళన చెందే వారికి టీం ఎయిడ్‌ సంస్థ ద్వారా భరోసా ఇస్తున్నారు. సంస్థ అధ్యక్షుడైన ఆయన ఇటీవల హైదరాబాద్‌ వచ్చిన సందర్భంగా తాము అందిస్తున్న సేవల గురించి వివరించారు. అవి ఆయన మాటల్లోనే..
అక్కడ నుంచే పుట్టింది ఆలోచన...
మాది గుంటూరు జిల్లాలోని నందివెలుగు. 32 ఏళ్ల కిందట ఉద్యోగరీత్యా అమెరికాకి వెళ్లి స్థిరపడ్డా. యూఎస్‌లో పనిచేస్తున్న ఇద్దరు భారతీయులు వేర్వేరు ఘటనల్లో మృతి చెందారు. వారి కుటుంబ సభ్యులు మృతదేహాలను మాతృదేశానికి తీసుకురావడానికి ఎన్నో ఇబ్బందులు పడాల్సి వచ్చింది. చివరికి కొందరి సాయంతో భారతదేశానికి తరలించాం. ఇలా మనదేశం నుంచి పొట్టకూటి కోసం ఎంతో మంది అగ్రరాజ్యానికి వచ్చి అత్యవసర పరిస్థితుల్లో ఉంటే వారి కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు ఎవరు సమాచారం అందజేస్తారనిపించింది. దాని నుంచి పుట్టిందే ఈ ‘టీమ్‌ ఎయిడ్‌’. తెలుగు వారికే కాకుండా అన్ని రాష్ట్రాల వారికి సేవలు అందిస్తాం. నేను 2007 నుంచి 2017 వరకు తానా అసోసియేషన్‌లో ట్రెజరర్‌ నుంచి అధ్యక్షుడి వరకు వివిధ బాధ్యతలు నిర్వహించా. ఆ సమయంలోనే విదేశాల్లో ఆపదలో ఉన్న భారతీయ కుటుంబాలకు సహాయం చేసే అనుభవం వచ్చింది. దీంతో 2017లో టీమ్‌ఎయిడ్‌ను ఏర్పాటు చేసి పలు ప్రవాస భారతీయ సంస్థలను భాగం చేశాం.
భారతదేశంలో ఎవరి నుంచి అయినా మా కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు ఫలానా జరిగింది.. ఏదైనా సాయం అందించగలరా అని టీమ్‌ఎయిడ్‌కు చిన్నపాటి సమాచారం చేరగానే జాతీయ కోఆర్డినేటర్ల ద్వారా బాధితుడు ఉన్న ప్రాంతంలోని వాలంటీర్లకు సమాచారం చేరుస్తారు. వాలంటీర్‌ వెళ్లి బాధితుడి పూర్తి వివరాలను సేకరించి ప్రతి విషయాన్ని భారత్‌లోని తన కుటుంబానికి చేరవేస్తారు. అక్కడి నుంచి ఆ దేశ కాన్సులేట్‌తో మాట్లాడి సంబంధిత పనులను పూర్తి చేస్తారు. ఇప్పటి వరకు అలా 3,500 మంది వరకు వాలంటీర్లుగా చేరి తమ సేవలు అందిస్తున్నారు. మరణించిన సందర్భాల్లో మృతదేహాన్ని భారత్‌కు తీసుకురావడమే కాకుండా అంత్యక్రియలు, కుటుంబ సభ్యులు అమెరికాకు రాలేకపోతే ఏం చేయాలి, మృతుడి బ్యాంకు, బీమా క్లెయిమ్‌ల గురించి అన్ని వివరాలను అందిస్తారు. దాని కోసం ఆసుపత్రులు, విమాన సంస్థలు, రాయబార కార్యాలయాల సిబ్బందితో మాట్లాడతారు. అవసరాన్ని బట్టి ఖననం లేదా దహన సంస్కారాల ఏర్పాట్లలో కూడా సహకరిస్తారు. అలా ఇప్పటి వరకు 5000 మందికి పైగా మృతదేహాలను భారత్‌కు తరలించారు. సహాయం కావాల్సిన వారు https://www.teamaid.org/testimonialsను సంప్రదించవచ్చు.

Ours is Nandivelugu in Guntur district. 32 years ago, he went to America as an employee and settled down. Two Indians working in the US died in separate incidents. Their family members had to face many difficulties to bring the dead bodies to the motherland. Finally, we moved to India with the help of some people. Like this, many people from our country come to Agraraj for Pottakooti and if there is an emergency, who will provide information to their family members. This 'Team Aid' was born from that. We provide services not only to Telugu people but also to people of all states. From 2007 to 2017 I held various responsibilities in Tana Association from Treasurer to President. It was at that time that I got the experience of helping Indian families in distress abroad. With this, in 2017, TeamAid was formed and many expatriate Indian organizations were part of it.
Something happened to our family members from anyone in India.. As soon as TeamAid receives a small information about whether any assistance can be provided, the national coordinators forward the information to the volunteers in the victim's area. The volunteer goes and collects the complete details of the victim and conveys everything to his family in India. From there they will talk to the consulate of that country and complete the related tasks. So far, up to 3,500 people have joined as volunteers and are rendering their services. In case of death, they provide all the details about the deceased's bank and insurance claims, apart from bringing the dead body to India, funeral arrangements, what to do if the family members cannot come to America.
