ఈనాడు, అమరావతి: ఒకటో తరగతి నుంచి ఇంటర్మీడియట్ వరకు ప్రభుత్వ, ప్రైవేటు విద్యా సంస్థల్లో చదివే అర్హులైన ప్రతి విద్యార్థికీ ‘తల్లికి వందనం’ పథకం కింద ఆర్థిక సాయం అందించేందుకు అన్ని చర్యలూ తీసుకోవాలని విద్య, ఐటీ శాఖల మంత్రి నారా లోకేశ్ ఆదేశించారు. ఉండవల్లి నివాసంలో పాఠశాల, ఉన్నత విద్య అధికారులతో మంగళవారం సమీక్షించారు. తల్లికి వందనం పథకానికి సంబంధించి తల్లుల ఆధార్ పరిశీలన ప్రక్రియ త్వరలో పూర్తవుతుందని, జులై మూడో వారంలో వారి బ్యాంకు ఖాతాల్లో నిధుల జమకు అన్ని చర్యలూ తీసుకుంటున్నామని ఈ సందర్భంగా అధికారులు మంత్రికి వివరించారు. పది, ఇంటర్మీడియట్ పబ్లిక్ పరీక్షల ఫలితాల్లో ఉత్తమ ప్రతిభ చూపిన విద్యార్థులతో ఈ నెల 29న షైనింగ్ స్టార్స్ కార్యక్రమం, జులై మూడో వారంలో తల్లిదండ్రులు-టీచర్ల సమావేశం, మిగులు ఉపాధ్యాయుల సర్దుబాటు తదితర అంశాలపై అధికారులతో మంత్రి చర్చించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా మంత్రి మాట్లాడుతూ ‘ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలల్లో విద్యార్థుల ప్రవేశాలు పెంచేందుకు ప్రత్యేక చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలి. ఎప్సెట్, పాలిసెట్, ఆర్సెట్ లాంటి 12 రకాల ప్రవేశాల కౌన్సెలింగ్ జాప్యం లేకుండా నిర్ణీత సమయంలో జరిగేలా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలి. విద్యార్థులకు ఇబ్బందులు లేకుండా కౌన్సెలింగ్ తేదీలను ఖరారు చేయాలి. ప్రభుత్వ ఇంజినీరింగ్, పాలిటెక్నిక్ కళాశాలల్లో సీట్లను పెంచేందుకు పరిశీలించాలి’ అని సూచించారు.
‘జాతీయ, అంతర్జాతీయ విద్యాసంస్థలు థాపర్ ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్, జేమ్స్ కుక్, మెల్బోర్న్, మేధావి స్కిల్ యూనివర్సిటీలు, జేఎస్ఎస్ అకాడమీ ఆఫ్ హయ్యర్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్, రీసెర్చ్ లాంటివి తమ విద్యా సంస్థలను రాష్ట్రంలో ఏర్పాటు చేసేందుకు ఆసక్తి చూపుతున్నాయి. జీఎంఆర్ మాన్సాస్ ఏవియేషన్ యూనివర్సిటీ ఏర్పాటును వేగవంతం చేయాలి. యువతకు మరింత సైనిక శిక్షణ, ప్రోత్సాహం అందించేందుకు రాష్ట్రానికి కేంద్రం మంజూరు చేసిన ఎన్సీసీ డైరెక్టరేట్ ఉపయోగపడుతుంది’ అని లోకేశ్ పేర్కొన్నారు. పాలిటెక్నిక్ కళాశాలల్లో మెకానికల్, సివిల్ విభాగాల సీట్లకు డిమాండ్ ఉందని అధికారులు మంత్రి దృష్టికి తీసుకొచ్చారు. ఇంజినీరింగ్ కౌన్సెలింగ్కు నోటిఫికేషన్ ఇచ్చేందుకు సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నామని వారు తెలిపారు. ఈ సమీక్షలో విద్యాశాఖ ముఖ్య కార్యదర్శి శ్యామలరావు, పాఠశాల విద్యాశాఖ డైరెక్టర్ తమీమ్ అన్సారియా, ఉన్నత విద్య కమిషనర్ నారాయణ భరత్గుప్తా, సమగ్ర శిక్షా అభియాన్ ఎస్పీడీ బి.శ్రీనివాసరావు పాల్గొన్నారు.
