Heavy rain with gusty winds.. Two people died after a wall collapsed on a car

Devarakadra Rural: Two lives were lost due to torrential rain in Devarakadra of Mahbubnagar district. Jagannath Reddy and Santhosh died when the guardrail collapsed on the car.

SCI Bhaskar Reddy and locals said the details are as follows. Bharatmala road works are going on in Chaudarpalli, Balsupalli, Devarakadra and Pedagoplapur villages of Devarakadra mandal. Jagannath Reddy (40) from Tirupati and Santhosh (35) from West Bengal are working under the contractor for these works. Jagannath Reddy is working as an accountant and Santhosh is working as a driver. On Wednesday evening, due to strong winds and hailstorms, they reached the rented house after finishing work. 

Both were sitting in the car as it was raining heavily. At the same time, due to heavy gusts of wind, the nearby retaining wall collapsed and fell on the car. The car was completely destroyed. Jagannath Reddy and Santosh are stuck in it. Locals who noticed.. pulled them out and took them to the district hospital in 108 vehicle for treatment. Doctors said that they died on the way. Local MLA G.Madhusudan Reddy inspected the scene.
